This thing will last good until the good ole boys get restless. Faircloth is bringing Joe Dale Carey as his DC from Aledo. He will also be looking to replace up to 4 other coaches at all levels. Especially at the middle school levels. Word is he wants to bring a WR and QB coach as well. He has full authority from the school board to do so. Might not all happen from year 1 but eventually it will go down. As a few posts read earlier some need to go and others need to be motivated. Everyone must remember Malone came in under the same situation, but only lasted 2 years. The natives were crying from day one, so get ready because as many people that want Fairclothe, the good ole boys still want the current staff. I think everyone knows at least one coach and they must all make up there minds to buy into his system. And as we all know at the end of the year not only were we losing, but it has been said publicly by the old staff we just had ZERO talent. So I think a change of heart is needed.

Vance is the guy. Donaher is old and not what we need. Looking for a guy that has had lots of recent success. Motivated, and looking to change things starting at the middle school level. Its not a sin to teach the kids to win at a young age. They do it in junior league and fall behind after that. Regardless of my opinions, neither of these guys have local ties, and will have full control of hiring and firing staff, thanks to the masters. Its time for change, and that's what we will get. Start at the top the keep on going. To all you loyal readers get ready because the guard is changing. Out with all of the old and in with the new. Once a new staff is in place we can begin to work on the other things needing change. Hopefully get a few new elected officials that have community interest in mind, the again if not the law will always prevail. All this info is trash. Here are the facts, the school board is opening this thing up state wide. The position will be an AD position. The applicant must have a masters degree. (Long and Credeur don't). The pay will be comparable to the Nederland job. Instead of being keyboard warriors, show up to the meeting and get the straight facts. I am under the understanding, from great sources, there will be a group of dads at the meeting inquiring how this thing will be done. All the chat of coaches is ridiculous, if anyone thinks 1 man can make a change, they are mistaken. A clean sweep is the only thing that will work. For the people saying this isn't a desirable job, that's semi correct. The addition of the AD job Helps and the pay surely helps. The facility will be the main reason a GREAT coach will be interested. Someone who will work with the program from a 5 year old playing flag football, to middle school kids, all the way through high school. Those are important things that need to be brought back to PNG, the rest will fall in place after this. Might even see a few new names playing instead of the same coaches kids.
