No offense taken. We know we have. WO-S is still finding itself. Last week played what probably will be a pretty good Nederland team. Both teams were without a key player and both played a poor mistake filled game. Now this week WO-S played a down LC-M team and put up a lot of offense and points. I agree with something you said earlier about my taking too much from this game. WO-S will find out where they are ext week against Newton.

Hate to say it but I did think LCM would give a little better effort.

Have been doing family research and learned the Longview head coach is a distant relative of mine. I made contact over the summer with him. Told him i’d be keeping up with Longview football this year.

When’s the last WO-S offense was held scoreless through 3 qtrs?

WO-S with 91 total offense Nederland about 125 all on the ground

Why?

I thought WOS’ secondary was supposed to be pretty stout. Reading this and last week scrimmage thread seems like they’re suspect

Has WO-S offense been able to move the ball at all?

My son works at the Barnes and Nobles in Beaumont and he said their getting a ton of calls and requests about when it will be in. He’s been there about 4 years and always gets me a copy as soon as it gets there.

Trying to find out what kind of a record he has without much luck. All I know is he played in the minor leagues in the 80s. Anyone know much about him? His name is Sergio Espinal and his last job was at Mathis HS which I believe is in the Corpus Christi area.

Well I for one agree that a parade is reserved for when you win state, but even so come on man give it some time. I mean all the students, players, coaches etc are all out on Christmas break and probably hard to get ahold of much less gathered together for a parade. Plus a parade requires city permits, police escorts, time to get floats decorated etc...last two years it was mid to late January before we had a parade.
