English split his Fresh and part of same played in the Fresh tourney. He wanted his more experienced Fresh to get better competition.
-
Perhaps Coach English doesn't want to take a chance on losing to his JV coach. :D

That EP was pretty wild. The ball hit the crossbar, bouced up and hit the lft upright, than bounced off of the top of the crossbar and went over for the score. Just don't see that every day. :D that is when you know things are going your way.
-
Don't even get me started about this possum thing. That was just plain ridiculous and irresponsible journalism IMO.
-
You can take em HJ and Silsbee ;D
-
Lots going on the last few weeks in Bulldog camp. Just expect to see anything. Albritton did a great job this year as a soph. He will continue to grow, but I must say I like Pryor at guard. You just gained 70 lbs, and added more strength and speed.
-
Why do I get the feeling we're going to see a more flamboyant Soulja with a little Swag now that BB has started. We're already getting the Double Shades. ;D No kidding, these kids are gonna be fun to watch when they really get going. And they are still so young. Wow!

Darn Razor, I just got tagged worse than you. My smite went from 59 to 240 in the last hour. Can someone please add a million to the guy who started the Dayton strategy rumor. >:(
-
You're right Dayton. Vidor should hope for 3-6 yards a play. Keep the clock and chains moving and SC's O off the field for 6 -8 minutes at a time. Than you hope SC turns it over and you get a lead and try to hang on. Can't wait to see this game.

As the old saying goes-----There's always next year--and the next---and the next---and the next. Sooner or later the team will have so much talent they won't need expert coaching the wins will just come and the coach will look like Coach of the Year. Let him stay as long as he wants. We've enjoyed the last 2 years at Ned.
-
It's amazing what we all learn on this site. Sometimes it is difficult to make your way through the BS. :D
-
That's not good Razor. I thought you could only smite once every hour. Either he has a whole army or Mods have different smite privilages. Lay low brother we can't lose you. ;D
-
No-one ----just guessing He's the only one IMO that could come up with such a brillant plan, where it even fooled his own coaching staff don't you think?
-
Well BF had to make it look good and get off to a fast start by beating Silsbee and it was too risky letting Lumberton beat you. Those kind of games can cost jobs. :D
-
BG It all makes since now. I thought you were just guessing about PNG not making the playoffs this year. It shocks me what some people will do for a raise. :'(
-
No No Purple 4ever. Dayton did SC a favor cause SC matches up better aginst Vidor and Dayton matches up better against Ned. That way 19-4A will win both games. At least that is how I understand Stew's strategy. :o
-
Yeah, Dayton is afraid of Vidor and they wanted the easier side of the bracket Rd #1 Overrated #5 Ned and RD 3 Overrated and #1 Dawson. Stew must have created this strategy cause the entire fan base and all the coaches and players didn't even know the game plan.
-
BG's Big Reveal -----Much like Dayton, not only did PNG tank their last game they decided to tank 7 other games this year cause they wanted to finish 2-8. Why you ask -- Coach has it in his contract that if he finishes 4 wins better than the prior year he automatically gets a BIG Raise. Coach nows with the talent coming up next year he is assured at least 6 wins. Cha Ching $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ;D
-
Hey Dayton fans, you all should be feeling just fine now. At least you know you are as good as you thought you were prior to the SC game. I just didn't realize you were that afraid of Vidor. Man that is a lot of strategic planning on your part. Not only did you have your whole fan base fooled, but your strategy even fooled your players and coaches. ;D I know I feel a lot better now, cause apparently SC is not as good as all of us thought. :o Man -- My head is killing me now. ;D
-
He's moved inside pinning his hopes on a Hoops DC. ;D

10-4. Those playoff jitters can get the best of any team. Next thing you know your putting the ball on the ground and having to play catch up and the mistakes just keep coming. I've seen some really good teams shoot themselves in the foot and get knocked out.
-
Good lookin shirt --- You left out the part about 19-4A being a cakewalk though ;D

3 down lineman and 2 Lbs upright on the ends. Sounds like five OTLS to me. You are leaving the middle open and their talent is trying to react to the ball. Those inside LBs will be out of position early. They will make adjustments cause their going to have trouble finding the ball. Again we will see how they are coached and how willing they are to stick to the program. Long drives and a running clock will keep Vidor in it, but it will be tough. As I said earlier SC is for real and should win out in the end. One thing is for sure -- I do not see a similar score to Dayton/SC. I have had many people tell me Dayton laid down early, Vidor on the other hand won't.
-
After watching the BH tape I feel even better about Vidor's chances. SC bites hard on misdirection and Vidor is a master at that. SC will be making adjustments to that 5 man front very quickly. Don't worry though SC fans, you will probably be able to catch most of Vidor's runners from behind. As I said earlier, if you rely on your speed and athletism, without being disciplined, your kids will be watching the Vidor runners going by them before they realize who has the ball. BH and Vidor's O is not the same. With Vidor all you ever know is the QB had the ball first. You actually have to tackle all that get the fake handoffs as well. I see a lot of frustrated D players for SC early on. It will be interesting to see how good your coaches really are, cause even with all that talent, they will have to coach this game.
NEDERLAND VS. DAYTON BROADCAST/Nederland wins 21-7!!
