Shug gets lost of yardage after the first ocntact, that's a given. However, with a crappy o-line, he gets nothing.....so I have a hard time understanding this guy's problem. Drinking loud mouths gives some people an attitude.

You hit it on the head. The way Faircloth continues to find ways to move the ball an come out on top proves that he's doing his job well as a coach. Sure, people are going to say "running your qb 30 times a game isn't good coaching" but it would be ludicrous if he didn't utilize Shug in every possible way that he has available to him.

Big congrats Nederland. Hell of a game. Love that Mid-County doubleheader Houston style.

Unless you know all players and their parents, there's a good chance you are sitting next to the player's parents. That could get interesting.
No dog in this fight but kudos to your coach.

Nederland did to to Willowridge Eagles what they did to BH Eagles.
Gave up opening drive touchdown and never led until final Nederland drive with less than 2 minutes
BH Nederland scored with 1:28 and Willowridge at 1:42

Huntsville has the best D in Region 3. They don’t throw the ball all that well so thry may struggle taking advantage of Manvels secondary. Could be a 7-6 final in this one.

Yeah they have it all this year. More like Manvel of last year as opposed to this years Manvel. Track speed. BUT if you can score, you may have a chance, albeit a small one

Sounds like i hit a nerve. Must be your kid or a close connection. You came to his defense when Stansbury caught 7 for 67 last year and i felt we should have attacked him more. Sheesh no one can take a ribbing. I literally have the most discussed/debated/hated/loved player on the website as my brother. I read all kinds of comments and crap on here, twitter, and various other places where people say b.s. without actually seeing him play or after a win. It was a joke man. Good luck to yall too

Willowridge is impossible to figure out three losses are to two regional favorites and a 6A playoff team (8-2 Dulles). There wins are largely against sub-par opponents. They have the classic issue of being between HISD bad and Manvel/Marshall good but no one really knows where in that pack they are.

Nederland is in that same category we probably know they aren't as good as the teams that beat Willowridge but they are much better than the teams that lost to Willowridge so at this point I throw my hands up and go I have no clue whos gonna pull this one out.

Who knows I'll give the advantage to the home team that has a history of making big plays on defense.

    Nederland by 6.5

In their defense... FB Marshall is a straight track speed team and if you don’t have speed on the field to combat that you will probably lose to them. Manvel is decent and so is willoridge. But they shouldn’t be getting blown out. PNG at home should probably handle this one.

If Shug was the featured RB, would anyone complain that he got too many carries? Did people flip when JC got 35+ carries per game for PAM, Mosley for Ned or even Bertrand for PNG? NO, because the QB threw 10-20 passes a game so it felt like it was distributed. So PNGs featured back just so happens to be it’s QB. GET OVER IT. Shug has good vision, hits the hole quick and runs hard. Deslatte does same (injured). Conner does as well in the limited action I’ve seen, but he doesn’t have the experience that allows BF and company to be comfortable enough to get him more carries and pick up blitzes, etc. this late in season against (SF, BH and Ned) top three. Beyond that, well...Shug gets 25+ carries!
