Magnolia opened a new school several years ago.  They're usually pretty salty.  You may be thinking Montgomery with a new school opening recently.

Two years ago they moved a linebacker to quaterback that was committed to play linebacker at Tulsa so they were able to make it work.  Doty is a heck of a coach and his kids will be ready to play.

Didn't BC get a Coach V?  If so they got a helluva guy for the job that will help get BC ready to play!

This is my humble, honest opinion.  I will put money down that the team who scores more points is going to be victorious.  Call it intuition, but my gut is never wrong!

Simple solution here.  Go to the fieldhouse and tell Riordan how it needs to be.  I'm sure he'd love to talk to y'all about it.

Honestly though, I think Crosby is going to be fine.  Jeff typically doesn't show a whole lot during scrimmages and is known for not playing starters.

Did Huffman look more polished? 

I didn't know Warren and Kountze still played football.

Did they play another Huffman/Shepherd/Cleveland somewhere else?  Your assumption on "definitely the most polished" isn't what I heard.

And what happens when your talent is down?  Do you come to the realization that you have to find less stiff competition or do you get your lungs kicked in and hope the players don't quit (emotionally, physically, and getting out of football)?

Not too bad.  They should one of the if not the favorite when their district hits.

They've got a good coaching staff for the timing on the hire.  I'm hoping to see better success for the Trojans this year.
