I understand where you're coming from, but we talk about "districts of doom" all the time; why not the other? You've got several programs who have outstanding kids, coaches, and communities and the fact of the matter is they're not typically good in football. Sometimes it is what it is. I'll give you this though; if you can finish in the top 2 you'll probably be playing a 2nd round play-off game. If you finish 3rd or 4th it will most likely be one and done.

I'd be interested to see if they have an athletic period. I know these schools are for the "intellectually driven" but who knows. I have a friend whose niece goes to a charter and they really encourage fine arts over athletics or ag. Thanks for the reply and good luck this week.

How many of these KIPP Schools are there? I think the new Conroe School murdered one of them? Aren't they college prep schools? Aren't they Houston ISD?

I can't wait to watch some of the toothless dog fights that are going to happen during these games. I've got my popcorn ready.

The unfortunate thing for Caney Creek is what athletes they did have were zoned for Oak Ridge whenever Conroe ISD opened Oak Ridge. They actually have a pretty good coaching staff who cares about the kids but their kids struggle. Vidor should beat them.

Do you mean routing or rooting for the Bobcats?

This, sir, is where I think you're wrong. The slot t (like the other run based offenses) is very balanced indeed! They're balanced in the aspect of being able to attack multiple gaps out of limited formations and repetitive backfield looks. I hope BC's OC understands that more than fans in the stands.

In 2015... Mag West beat them 58-0 College Station 86-23 And that's when they had Caddie.

They also lost a really good receiver/secondary kid. I want to say he went to Tulsa or La Tech? Anywho, good luck to y'all.

Magnolia opened a new school several years ago. They're usually pretty salty. You may be thinking Montgomery with a new school opening recently. Two years ago they moved a linebacker to quaterback that was committed to play linebacker at Tulsa so they were able to make it work. Doty is a heck of a coach and his kids will be ready to play.

Didn't BC get a Coach V? If so they got a helluva guy for the job that will help get BC ready to play!

This is my humble, honest opinion. I will put money down that the team who scores more points is going to be victorious. Call it intuition, but my gut is never wrong!

Simple solution here. Go to the fieldhouse and tell Riordan how it needs to be. I'm sure he'd love to talk to y'all about it. Honestly though, I think Crosby is going to be fine. Jeff typically doesn't show a whole lot during scrimmages and is known for not playing starters.

Did Huffman look more polished?

I didn't know Warren and Kountze still played football.

Did they play another Huffman/Shepherd/Cleveland somewhere else? Your assumption on "definitely the most polished" isn't what I heard. Good luck and Go Falcons!

And what happens when your talent is down? Do you come to the realization that you have to find less stiff competition or do you get your lungs kicked in and hope the players don't quit (emotionally, physically, and getting out of football)?

Not too bad. They should one of the if not the favorite when their district hits.

They've got a good coaching staff for the timing on the hire. I'm hoping to see better success for the Trojans this year.
