Must've hit a nerve. There was no reason for the announcers to keep bashing Kyle Allen's performance and then going to Murray on the sideline. As far as how Sumlin looked on camera, it was like he didn't want to be there. I wouldn't have waited 'til halftime to make my way to the exit at the TCU game. Well, actually if I had spent the money on tickets, gas, hotel, food, etc., I would've stayed. I'm sure there have been games where other fan bases have left early. You're correct OT when u say Texas fans leave mighty early, or don't even show up. Texas hasn't been very good at all for awhile, but it appears they are making progress, or so it seems. Guess we'll see how it all plays out. As far as to my previous post, I was just making an observation. And it all goes back to the broadcasters and their comments during the game. Which most certainly did injustice to Allen, Murray, Sumlin, and ATM.

Weren't looking too good everytime the camera would show Murray after each statement made about Allen and how bad he was playing. Or showing sumlin on camera also. He looked as if he had no clue what to do. Blank stare most of the time as if in a stupor. He checked out. The game announcers don't need to be putting kids down like that. If they wanted to rip someone, it should've been the head coach and oc. If I'm watching this game as a recruit or parent, I'd be concerned with what I saw.

Surely it wasn't on purpose that Sumlin left Allen in the game for such a long time. I'm pretty sure his parents aren't too happy either.

You're right OT...I guess it was just speculation back then seeing how that was imposed on SMU.

And Sherrill steps aside as Head Coach as part of the agreement so the Death Penalty wouldn't be imposed. That's what I remember.

Texags is saying it could be a HUGE hire. Sumlin will hafta demote spav first. Is he willing to do that at this point in the season or going to wait until after the bowl game?

Wonder how Mangino would look in maroon? I think it would be a good OC hire for Sumlin and the Aggies!

The powers that be need to stop giving HUGE raises and contract extensions to the Head Coaches until they have proven themselves at that university. I guess they hafta dangle that carrot to get the big time names to even consider going here or there.

It's that time of the year for some coordinators and assistants to be the scapegoat of the program.

My exact thought..who's in charge. The coach, or the pressure from Kevin and family. Guess we'll find out Friday, or game time Saturday.

Whether Kyler is the better option or not, he'll start, or see a great amount of playing time this week due to all the hoopla that's been reported upon.

Sumlin gets Murray to Aggieland. Happy Days are here again! Now with Kyler's lack of playing time, it appears there is the beginning of a split on the team. Sound familiar? Just think how hot it would've been on Sumlin if he had not gotten Murray on campus. What happens next? Will Kyle Allen be ready to go against SC? Will Kyler be pardoned for going off on Spav? Does Hubanek get more playing time? Winning takes care of everything. Guess we'll see how Sumlin figues all this out.

That 6th win is becoming extremely difficult to come by. Has Sumlin 'lost' his team?

Sumlin isn't dumb. If he played Murray and he did well, all hell would break loose. So the safe thing was to put hubanek in. Smart move on his part. Clap Clap Clap!!!
