Good point(s) old timer. I agree with all you've stated. I believe the progress we've seen the past 3 games by Texas (albeit against the middle of the big 12 pack) has a good percentage of the fan base a bit more excited about the future. But then again, we've been looking for anything positive to brighten our spirit, get a little confidence back, and feel good about team once again. Just think what would be said if the horns hadn't become bowl eligible.

I really don't believe 'anyone' will want to face Texas 5 years down the road.

They will have a favorable schedule when it comes to their non conference and sec east opponents. The problem will still be the head to head match-ups in the sec west. Great win by the aggies but one still has to remember the hype after South Carolina. What happens to Kyle Allen after a few losses. Whose team will it be then?

How many wins do the skins have? 3? Colt is responsible for 2 of those wins. Am sure he'd like to be in more games, but he gets paid whether he plays or not. He's going to have a pretty good nfl career one way or another.

Jerruh jones is going to be partly responsible for the premature ending to Romeo's career if he keeps putting him in games after injuries.

Evidently the aggies didn't prepare for ULM figuring they could win w/o it. Looking past any opponent can bite you in the backside, which nearly happened.
