49-10?????  dream on this game is gonna be alot closer than people seem to think The raiders will have 2 very good backs but H-F has a very solid Linebacker crew to slow them down I am very excited to see this game it would be magnificent if HF could pull off this upset

But Lumberton also has a huge athletic O line that will block the HF linebackers  ;D

Hanna will be the starting RB probably getting around 20 to 25 touches a game. Beard will get some spot duty and get around 10-15 touches and sophmore Ryan Asher will get around 5 toughs a game in spot duty to give the others a break. This is what will probably happen

Yes, Hanna will be the starting RB. He takes all the snaps with the first huddle so thats what I'm assuming.

Lumberton's D looking good at practice today!

I don't know how the morning practice went but I went to the afternoon and Lumberton's defense was looking VERY physical. 3 of the 4 D linemen returning, with Anthony Beard playing mike. 

All I can say about the offense is that the teams they face are going to have to stack 11 in the box to stop the run. Hanna and Beard are huge, fast, and explosive. Looks like a field day for them. The o line is looking pretty dang good also. They have alot of size, and talent. Not to mention Tulane commit Hunter Howden or All State, 1st team all district, 1st team all SETX Kyle Gillam. I'm looking forward for this years team

That game was crazy. Tied 0-0 till the 4th. Lumberton scores with 16 seconds left AND THEN goes for a 2 point conversion. Thats a game to remember even if your not a Lumberton fan.. 

"IF" Lumberton wins that'll improve y'alls all-time record vs HF to an impressive 3-12-0.

well engleber, what exactly does that have to do with anything?? Were not talking about last year, or the year before. Its about this season, 2008! How about you take HF and put them in 20 4a and on top of that give them a 2 touchdown head start. They would still come in last place.

If HF even comes close to beating Lumberton, there going to have to put numerous points on the scoreboard. I just dont see HF stopping Lumberton's running game. Beard 6'1 205 4.6 and Hanna 6' 215 4.5. Both Avg 8 yards a carry last season. No way buddy. And not to mention Lumberton's O Line. Hunter Howden 6'5 285 and currently holds 10 D1 offers, All State center Kyle Gillam 6'2 260. Not going to be an upset..

Lumberton, congrats on a good season in 2007, I wish you the best.  The only thing that gets me is perrinnial powers like Ned, PNG, Central, WOS, etc. don't get on here talking all world talk and these teams have had numerous good years...  You guys get one good year and now you all talk like Lumberton is all world...  You all need to just be thankful for having a good year and press for future success, NOT come on a thread and claim greatness....

I have a feeling beard will do a fine job of that...especially with the added speed he will bring.

I think that Hanna will get the majority of the carries this year because Lumberton can't afford to take Beard out on defense. And not to mention that Hanna is a 215lbs guy that runs a legit 4.6. Don't get me wrong, I think Coach C did a GREAT job with our boys last year, but I don't think he used Hanna to his full advantage...

How is Lumberton going to be up front this year? Their O and D lines really impressed me last year and I was curious about how many of those kids are returning

This is the new and improved Razor!! Lumberton is returning 3 or the 4 D linemen. Ward (Texas State) will be a huge lose. But from what I've heard, they have moved Hanna from the 3 technique to DE. I love this Lumberton defense. None of that gap control bull, they all fly to the ball.

WE HAD A KID FROM BC COME IN, BUT I THINK HE IS PLAYING MIDDLE LB & 2ND TEAM FULLBACK. BY THE WAY, WE BEAT LUMBERTON 6-13 AND THE NEXT DAY BEAT VIDOR BY AT LEAST 3 TD'S, MAYBE MORE, I GOT THERE LATE. WE PLAY LUBERTON {THERE} I THINK TUES. TATUM IS A FORCE. THE BASEBALL PLAYERS THAT CAME BACK LOOKED GOOD. LYNCH, SPIKES AND DEROUEN.{I'M SURE I MISSED SOME PLAYERS} DEROUEN CAUGHT A 45 YARD BOMB TO END THE GAME AT VIDOR. LINEMEN WERE ALSO IMPRESSIVE IN SOME DRILLS THEY HAD AGAINST VIDOR.
