-
Lumbertons: Jacob Hanna
Livingston- 121yds on 12 carries 2 tds 10.0 avg
Vidor- 162yds on 17carries 1 td 9.5 avg
-
He still had a great game, and is the best back in the district. Had 140 yards at half!! Ended up with 162 on 17. Vidor shut down Lumbertons offense 2 half..
-
Im just relaying the message!!
-
I just talked to my buddy and his son starts for Lumberton. He said that the reason he got thrown out was because a player from vidor was cursing at Hanna and Hanna asked the ref if he was going to throw the flag. The ref said yup your out of the game. Theres alot that goes on the field that nobody in the stand knows.
-
Dont be downing Hanna. The kids a really good guy and a respectful young man. Anyone know his stats from tonight?
-
Im eating crow right now lolQuote from: Razor08 on October 03, 2008, 07:09:41 PM

Lumbertons:
Jacob Hanna 12 carries 142 yards 1 TD 11.8 avg
Anthony Beard 13 tackles
Kyler Keith 3 ints
-
Hope that QB was ok

If im not mistaking Jacob Hanna sacked him 3 times. Made him fumble 2 times!! He got nowhere on Lumbetons DWhere you even at the game?????? For one penalties didnt have nothing to do with us scoring chris bell broke out a huge run after a interception no penalty involved and second lumberton didnt do anything to HFs quarterback he was in the whole game except for one play and that was because of a cramp
-
-
Lumberton's
Ryan Asher rushed for 90yds on 16 carries
Jacob Hanna rusher for 82yds on 12 carries
-
what was the deal with Hanna tonight?? ??? seemed like he just couldnt hang on to the ball
-
You should change your Toups Fearless whatever because your going to be wrong. sorry buddyThe Raiders come in sky high into this game after the greatest season in school history. Unfortunately for the Raiders they lost too much talent. Look for Hamshire Fannet to expose the slower Lumberton secondary with a passing offensive barrage. Lumberton stays in the game with their running game, but will not be able to stop the Hamshire Fannet offense. Hamshire Fannet wins their home openner by 11.
Toups Graphics Fearless Prediction
Hamshire Fannet 28 Lumberton 17

Those comments are stupid!! Dayton came and scouted for a scrimmage!! Obviously practiced all week for us while we were getting ready for HF!! Do yall know that every formation Lumberton got in, I, quads, trips, the motion out of the wing, etc.. That Dayton knew EVERY play that was coming at them?? Actually screaming them at Lumberton's O before they ran it?? Why in the he!! would you go to that extent for a scrimmage?? Thats a HUGE advantage for the Dayton side! But guess what? At the end of the day, Lumberton still beat Dayton last year, No scrimmage can take that away from the players or any fan And for the Lumberton D, you guys need to step it up big time! I know Coach C was rotating everyone in and out but Dayton put the smack down on yall. Theres alot of improving on both sides of the ball, Lumberton will get it together!!
-
If Lumberton would have went and scouted and actually practiced for Dayton I think the outcome would have been alot different. A player off the team told me that they have been preparing for HF all week. He said that they only got one practice in on Dayton, and that every formation they lined up in the players from Dayton were screaming what they were fixing to run. ??? for a scrimmage that is CRAZY!! So to say that we don't have any athletes, size or speed, just because of a scrimmage that we didn't prepare for, you are extremely wrong. I give props to Hanna and Beard for running the ball hard
-
The ONLY reason you said that is because they beat a VERY over rated Nederland team. They would not win districtVidor I hope you do upset Nederland. They are getting spanked by Jasper in a scrimmage and picked to win the district? Good luck to the pirates over Nederland.
Jasper would more than likely win 20-4A in my opinion as would WO-S. I think overall the district will be down this season.

Its ok Lumberton fans. Diamond gay is just mad about the so called fluke last year. I remember that game like it was yesterday. The D line had Aj running for his life. I don't even think yalls running back had over 40 yards on us lol and in the end, yes Lumberton won! let me say it again LUMBERTON WON! But that was last year. Im not the type of person to dwell on the past. But for this certain situation in the fact that lumberton and dayton are tie 1-1 for the recent histiory, the only thing you can get out of this is bragging rights. thats it
-
Ok so Hanna touches the ball 4 times and gets 100 or so yards rushing, Beard touches the ball 4 times and gets 60 yards rushing. If BC D was any good, they wouldnt be getting yards like that. Or maybe our backs are that good? All im saying is that if Lumberton would of ran stretch and sweep to Hanna and Beard the whole scrimmage, it would of been a bad. But this was a SCRIMMAGE! It means nothing lol I hope the best of luck to BC in the upcoming season!BC's TD was against the 2nd team. both Lumbertons were against the first team.
but I did hear BC looked better than last year but remeber Lumberton lost their first scrimmage last year 2-1 so take it for what it was. A practice
Why wasn't Lumberton's Runningback running 60 70 yard runs every play then??
It doesn't matter if your running the base of all base of your offense If B.C.'s Defense relay Sucked he would have did that every play of the game and it would have been a repeat
dude, go read your friends posts from BRIDGE CITY. even THEY said that almost every run for lumberton went for 10+ yards! now i'm not football coach or anything, but you don't really need 80+ yard rushes, when your gettin a first down EVERY play now do you?
yeah, don't think so.
and, if you wanna get smart about it, like WTB said.. they both DID have rushes of 40-50+
so..
But the point im tring to get to you lumberton people is that every time beard and hanna touched the ball they wenrn't in the enzone, If Bridge City's defense wasent good they wouldent have held them to 40 50 + yard's, Dont get all mad im just sayin im impressed with there defense. No hard fellings
-
Ya I think Hanna and Beard only touched the ball like 3 or 4 times each. Every run they had was for over 10 yds. And both had one go for over 45
-
I say Lumberton's d-line puts alot more pressure on Cody Green than WOS did.
14-21 either way
-
He also returned one to the house that game#3 Running Backs!!! we have had a run the last 4 years with a Stud in each class and it Started with Hussey. Hanna is gonna be the man replacing him and is a better athlete and is bigger and stronger. at 6' 212 right now he ran a 4.59 at the ULL football camp and has had some fantastic rushing performances in his career already. Sophmore year 24 carries 135 yards 2 TDs against Nederland when Hussey was out. Bridge City 2 carries for 102 yards and 2 TDs and yes I mean 2 carries. Anthony Beard and Ryan Asher will also get some carries at fullback and tailback and both are very Talented.
But i predict Lumberton 35 HF 7 with Hanna rushing for 200+
-
They should all be on the list!Hunter Howden #55 - LT - Lumberton
Kyle Gilliam #52 - C - Lumberton
Jacob Hanna #24 - RB/DE - Lumberton
Anthony Beard #49 - MLB/RB - Lumberton
