    I just got off the phone with the director of the UIL and the rest of the season in 2A has been canceled.  The have decided to give the state championship to Kirbyville since the beat Buna.  Also Randy Musgrove was named first team all state at every position so congrats on a wonderfull season Kirbyville the trophy presentation and parade have been set for next sat at the Phillips 66 gas station on hwy 96

    And then Kirbyville fans woke up! ::) ::)

    Dang i wanted to pinch who ever was dreamin that dream:) must have been a kville fan or player go figure

    your right silsbee88 so we do it three times and still win. 

    the bases where loaded that day and the other two days too and the kids where

    taught to throw at the batter like many are and in the heat of battle the kid does

    what he is taught to do.  Maybe I beat you doing this because i do believe it was a

    4a one of the two times we did it.

    ILL TELL YA RIGHT NOW BUNA IS WEAK THEY ARE LIKE A BUNCH OF LITTLE GIRLS OUT THERE ON THE FIELD PEOPLE KEEP SAYIN BRANDON HILLIN AND JOSH CLARK AR AWESOME BUT IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE INSTEAD OF THROWIN THEIR SUPPOSED 90 MPH THEY ARE THROWIN BEACHBALLS THAT ARE GETTIN RIPPED EVERYTIME MAYBE THEYLL BE THE NO 3 SEED TEAM IN THEIR WEAK LITTLE DISTRICT BUT I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT THEY CAN HANDLE KOUNTZE AND WARREN AND GOOD TEAMS LIKE HARDIN AND ANAHUAC BUNA IS DOWN JUST FACE IT

    you wouldn't know what a 90 mph ball looked like at the plate...buna is still good and evadale is a good team but i'm believin they're not gonna beat buna...clark and hillin were just slow in the beginning but hillin had some arm problems in the beginnin also! and i do believe evadale would have a hard time touching clark...

    I have seen him play i've seen all of them play before quite a few games this year actually sooo im not dogging on him at all but there are not many high school baseball players out there that can keep that good of a batting average i've seen plenty of games to know that from little league to major league even the minors sooo im not knit picking on any one player or any three players there great players i think but dont get big headed at the beginning of the season...also another note Jt Hallmarks (BA) is only 600 and he is lagit kville players and got nothin on that. goes to show that that 700 will go down:)

    your right it might will go down.....to what he hit last year in one of the toughest 3A's in the state which was

    .506. Do you really think he can't hang in this 2A district?????? I would take him over any kid in Buna....

    i would definitley take a buna kid over anybody in the district

    well its a good thing kirbyville aint in your district cuz you would be makin a mistake taking any kid in buna over musgrove

    i'd take any player from 23 2a before i took muscgrove honestly everyone makes him to be such a good player he's lagit dont get me wrong but still there is better out there:)

    Honestly i think Buna will be the underdogs that come out on top they have hard working players and very good coach i've seen them play and when thier playing together as a team there very good not making play offs last year probly upset them but they'll come out fightin hard and hittin hard also they have some talent. Show em girls

    No, what you really saw was Buna beating themselves and if that wasn't your No.1 pitcher why is he the only one K'ville ever talks about.  Must be keeping No. 1 a BIG secret.

    he really is the #2 pitcher....Crawford is #1... Aaron pitched a great game. The reason why everyone is talking about him is because he has not played since he made all district new comer on 3A.  The real talk is Muscgrove batting almost .700.  Also the SO Jones is batting almost .600. 

    Batting only a few times usually means that your(BA) is up. just like start off new season with a hit your batting 1000 it goes down there are college and pro's that would love to keep a 700 (BA) but even they cant remember your in high school base ball and getting a big head a[bout people batting that its still fresh season boys and girls not only will that (BA) go down it might just plumit into the ground. Btw if you dont know what (BA) is its batting average  :o

    There is too much (junk) talk going on around this post. Just from reading some of these. Kirbyville happend to get the best of Buna. Maybe the ville is not a bad as every one made them out to be. But remember. Teams can either start out hott, or slow. Im saying that Buna went to state last year, and regained there entire squad despite two. True, you cant live on last years epics. But, if the New york yankees, or Boston redsox, happen to lose to the Baltimore orioles, or the royals, sorry you fans out there =), who are you going to say is the better team? Who is going to appear in the playoffs. The way i  see it, teams will get beat, teams will play bad ball for a while, but you have to know, baseball is a tricky game. LAst year if im right (cougar fans), Buna came behind from   8 runs in a playoff game in one inning? Thats just how tricky the game can be. Kirbyville won the game, but lets not smack talk about drums, or how bad a team is.  OR fantasise about evadale hanging with Buna. I see it.. When kirby ville makes a trip to Austin, or beats the cougars when theyre rolling. All props to the cats. It will be interesting to see if kirbyville can make it as far as Buna or vise versa, and see this match up for a austin trip. Class is the key. Good job cats, Buna.. Get it rolln

    Dont you mean the other 8 because it takes 9 to make a team ::) or 10 if you count the DH

    whats the call

    runner on third, batter squares to squeeze bunt ball and does not pull back and is hit by pitch in the leg while runner is sliding under for a safe call at the plate. 

    what is the right call

    a.  strike one on batter, runner scores

    b. strike one on batter, runner returns to third due to dead ball

    c.  no strike runner scores

    d. none of the above
