Told ya so................  HF got a new coach and are doing well.  Will give WOS and Silsbee a run for their money.

They may be headed in the right direction but they won't have any change left when they play these two programs this year.
They have been heading in the right direction for 3 years.

LOL! This clown wrote an essay. lol! Anytime a team gets blown out by 50 points all season, I want to know how they are District Champs the next season. Most people do. Yes you are right, we last won a playoff game in 1998. That still does not make us a bottom feeder like the other teams in our District. None of the teams in our District have over 520 wins and near as many District Championships as we have. Glad to see you let some of that HD hatred out. Maybe one day Colmesneil will be on our level.  ;) ;D 8)

P.S. Sorry about the 70-14 thing. lol

I don't have a dog in this fight. (no pun intended) But you talk about district championships like theyre state championships. We went undfeated in district and shut out a few of our district opponents back in 2009 with mostly sophomore and junior starters in one of the toughest 5a (big boy football) districts in the state and eliminated the state's #4 ranked team in the 2nd round of the playoffs (being 1 and done is unacceptable at West Brook) , who went to the state championship the previous year but it does not matter because we didnt win state.

In other words, what I'm saying is you shouldn't brag about district championship like they're state championships. Because outside of the district, they dont matter.

I think District Championships are very important. It brings (should) a lot of pride to schools when they win a lot of district championships.

    Drummond from uconn maybe?
Who knows? I'm just happy that the organization is NOT okay with being average. I think they are finally listening to what the fans want, and that's a playoff team with Championship potential. The Houston market is too big to expect anything less, even though we've had to settle for it for over 15 years now.

Now we just need new uniforms.

Kountze as a coaching graveyard you say.....We have only had 18 head coaches since 1980.
31 years 18 head football coaches. Hell I was one of them. Coaches come and go. 2 maybe 3 winning seasons (depending on the hurricane year) in that stretch with no playoff appearances.

Lots of factors are involved along with a lot of politics, jealousy, backstabbing, negative community involvement, the list keeps going.

Formula for success = MAGIC BEANS

hey wideveer lance was not the track coach, I was. The kids won the district meet.

    sincerely,

    Paul Colton

Are you an active Kountze coach?  If so, I can't believe you are posting here using your name.  I knew coaches posted, but most hide.
I respect him for not hiding behind his name. I have seen many coaches not hide behind a name on here.

Just wondering where all of the Spoelstra bashers are now?????
I'm not his biggest fan but I'll tip my hat. He is a champion coach now. I think he looks unconfident all the time but maybe that is his look. I would like to see LeBron and Wade win another 4 or 5. It doesn't matter to me who is on the sidelines in the process.

Hoping lebron never wins a championship. Go OKC!
Why? What has LeBron done for people not to like besides "The Decision." He was a young kid when he did that with the world of pressure on him. What is different between what LeBron, Wade, and Bosh did compared to Pierce, Garnett, and Allen? That's actually 3 for sure hall of famers on the Celts compared to a probable 2 on the Heat.

Thoughts on the hornets jumping up & getting the first pick after all the things that occurred with NOLA this year?

Rigged, the lottery needs to be done live.

I'm not saying it is or isn't, but if it is...then why would Yao have ended up in Houston and not in NY or NJ where he would have been on a bigger stage and possibly met up against Shaq in the Finals?

Lol duncan is nowhere near jordan lol!!
You have to compare them to people in their position. You can't compare a SG to PF and say they are not even close. Is Jordan one of the best to play the game? Yes...but so is Tim Duncan. What PF in history would you take in front of Duncan? Duncan would be my first choice with everything he can do. I'm pretty sure Phil won with two superstars and role players everywhere else on all his championship teams. Papa has done it with 2-3 superstars and role players everywhere else. Both are tremendous coaches but I'll take the one with 11 rings.

Interesting.....when was the last time WOS wasn't in the top 10? Not saying they deserve to be there, just stating and observation. IMO, WOS has always been in the top 10 since the early 80's.  Correct me if I'm wrong but i can't remember that since I was was old enough to remember which was 1985 to now.
They were ranked top 10 every year when they were 4A? That would suprise me when there were years they weren't even picked to finish 1st or 2nd in district.
  10. I didn't know for sure he fouled him until the replay at that angle. I thought he pulled off so he wouldn't foul him when it was live. I have seen two in bounds plays this series where OKC player have just flat out pushed a Heat player over...arms extended through the process. Officials miss calls. I agree everyone showed up for both teams but let me say this...Westbrook pass the ball to Durant he's always more open than you unless you have a lay-up. Yes...huge clutch by LeBron. NOW maybe Skip Bayless will shut up since he still wouldn't after the Celts series.
