I not sure but Kountze has not been to the playoffs in a while also. Not sure why Tarkington not done better. But the thing might be that it has been so long. Maybe the kids don't want to play for a team that has not won in a while. But you also have to look at the district they are in it is a competitive one.

The Franchise is 2-3 on the season and 2-1 in their grade. They went 2-0 in the Fall Classic in Spring this weekend with the Sunday games cancelled due to rain. Their current strength rating has them 65th out of 268 teams in the nation in their grade.

If the district meets certain standards each year he gets a pay raise. The last 4 or 5 years he has refused the pay raise and had them put that money back into the district

I did not realize that they have played each other that many times. If this list is just based on how many times teams have played each other I am sure there are more schools that have played more than some on the list or are they just going by how big the schools are? Buna and Orangefield just played there 50th game a few weeks ago!
