The Franchise went 3-1-1 over the weekend for a second place finish in the 13u-open division.  Friday nights game was a 10-10 tie with Vidor and Sat. game was a 10-5 win over Atascocita Aces.  Sundays bracket play started with a 8-0 win over Yankees baseball followed by a 6-5 win over Vidor.  The championship game was a 6-2 loss to the Young Guns. Overall record 12-12-2 Grade 15 record 6-4 Grade 16 record 5-8-2 Grade 17 record 1-0 The Franchise is a grade 15 team

19 e's in the game total for both teams not sure Kountze had 16 but they both had alot of throwing errors

good win Buna looks like they pulled there head out from yesterdays showing

If LU could land both of those it would be a big Lift for the program

Clark started and Baxter came in with two outs in the fourth.  Clark was not on but they still could not hit his fastball.  Bad pitch selection is what did him in and that is not his fault.  He pitched what he was told and guess they never saw that his breaking stuff was not hitting so they decided to pitch it until it started working.  I think he only gave up 2 maybe 3 hits but there were 6 or 7 unearned runs scored while he was on the hill.

I left in the middle of the 4th on this one and it was looking like a little leauge game with balls flying all over the place.  Both teams were not on their game today and it showed big time.

Congrats to Sam on a good year.  Not sure people thought they would Play em that close

The Franchise went 3-1 over the weekend for a second place finish.  On sat. the pitching and fielding was near perfect in getting 4-1 and 9-7 wins and Sunday was not bad either in a 7-6 come from behind win in the last inning and a 14-6 chamionship game to a class above team with good pitching.

Just because Josh is not from BC, Nederland or PNG does not mean he is a joke.  This kid has what it takes to play ball at the next level.  I invite all you who have been making fun of Josh to come out and watch him play, he pitched today but will be playing shotstop tomorrow night when Buna plays in OF at 6pm.   

Nabors limps around campus on crutches all day, I'm suprised he was even able to play

forget the score but LU loses big.   This "great recruiter" has taken a middle of the road SLC team and has managed to dive bomb it into the bottom of the conference the last two years.  I say cut your loses and quit playing babysitter with Roc.  I think Todd Sutherland could do as good of a job as Roc has done as of late.  I say let Sutherland get a shot at it he couldn't do any worse than where the program is now.
