If they have made changes and now plan on putting bleachers in the endzones then it makes some sense not to put the turf down just to get messed up before you even practice on it for the first time.  Trust me if they put it down before bleachers go in the endzone sides of the turf will be good as jacked up from the construction workers and equipment working on it.  Not putting the workers down but I worked construction before and you don't get paid enough to care.

they have talked to the UIL and unless they rule against it in the next day or two it is set in stone.  The only reason it is even possible is 24-2AA does not play football

Just my opinion but Anahuac is playing Kirbyville in the second round unless a miracle happens and Buna is playing Newton unless that same miracle happens.  I am not sure what there is to scout that you already do not know about these teams but I am no expert so any other thought on why it could be moved?  I would play it this week cause if you get a injury you have two weeks to get back to 100% vs a week.

IMO I don't think the Enterprise cares about high school football.  It is almost playoff time and you get 2 pages on it.  You used to get 3 or 4 pages every sat years ago.  Looked in the paper today to see if they had anything about the Buna and Hardin game and all they got was a final score on the front page not even a game summary.  I will never by the enterprise again!!!!

Good win Buna!!!  Buna did not throw a pass all night and did not need to.  #22 Lynn Williams for Buna was a hoss getting 6 to 7 yards per carry.  Great game Hardin you guys did not quit.  Good game hardin QB

We can call this game the Typo Bowl because apparently according to the AP Poll Buna is ranked #13 in the state and that is just out of place like a wood duck in a flock of geese

That is how the Buna defense has always been.  How can you spear a defenseless ball carrier or quarterback?  If you mean hitting them in the back the question I have to ask is why is a ball carrier running backwards!!! and the QB thing, blind siding a QB happens in football at all levels it is a matter of the QB not knowing some one is running at them.  Buna is a emotional team and may be a little cocky at times and people don't like that for some reason but that is there opinion.  Everyone on the defense attacks who has the ball and sometimes a players legs may be caught up and they get hit like a sitting duck but you can't fault them for playing till the whistle blows.

The Buna thing might be a typo but there are no other 2A schools with a similar name to Buna.  Unless they are looking at the teams they have lost to but then that don't make sense since they lost to EC and they not even mentioned!! Is there a way to check that?  Cause Buna Being ranked #13 in the state in football seems out of place and I am from Buna

The Franchise current strength rating has them ranked 8th in the state in the 13U select division and 24th in the nation with a in class record of 4-1

The Franchise took home second place in the Lumberrton Tournament losing to the Pirates 9-3. record is 4-4-1

The Franchise beat Texas Strike Force 10-4 and TPX JAXX 13U Navy 5-4 today in Lumberton. Record improves to 4-3 overall and 4-1 in class

I think this will be a good game because both teams know what is on the line.  I like Buna in this but it will be close
