Buna was 4-1 when these rankings came out and are now 7-1 after winning the Evadale tourny, why is it wrong for them to be ranked?  We will find out the best team in district when that time gets here.

[/quote] your welcome, from the sideline I even heard fans yelling about the play calling.  the sideline coaches get info from the other coaches up in the pressbox.  If those coaches see something that might help the team they let the coaches on the sideline know about it.  They have the birds eye view and can see the field better.  There were very few plays that did not work for Silsbee.

[/quote] all that was attempted was a halfback pass and the hitch and pitch.  I personally agree with the time of each play being called it was just Huffmans strong side safty was quick to read both plays and steped up to make great plays on both of them.  If we could have got the halback pass completed it would have been a 20+ yard pass and everyone would be saying it was a good call but since it was incomplete the OC does not know what he is doing.  I am going to back the Silsbee coaching staff 100% on their decisions

One of the best High school games I have ever seen.  It was even better watching it from Sillsbee's sideline and feeding off the players emotions.  I am not going to take nothing away from the players but there were 2 bad calls on Silsbee and a bunch of no calls against Huffman for blocking in the back and holding.  I lost count of how many times Silsbee's DB's were held by recievers and D-lineman held when got through O-line.  and when confronted the refs had no answer why the calls were made or not called.

[/quote] I doubt Warren will Beat EC but if Warren does beat EC then That would Make Anahuac District champs with one lose assuming they beat Hardin and EC would be tied with Newton and Buna at 2 losses assuming they both win and Buna owns the tie breaker with EC.

If Lamar wanted to go undefeated they would have played South Alabamas schedule, but instead they chose to play a pretty rough FCS schedule.  I think it is a good thing they scheduled hard games so going into next year they know where they stand in the SLC.  Sure they need to make some improvements but every team needs to do that.  The McNeese game got everyones expectations way high for this season and people are throwing them under the bus cause they are not winning.  South Alabama will get a wake up call when they get in the Sun Belt and have to play real schools.  I would rather take lumps this season and go 4-7 than go 10-1 with a cream puff schedule then get to the real games next year and go 1-10 and wonder what happened to a team that went 10-1 but was never tested.  I think this schedule makes them a better team next year and if you just want to bash on em now then get off the wagon cause we want fans not people who only point out the negative in every game.  let this team grow and get up to full scholarships and a few transfers like every other FCS team in the country gets and I belive this team will be fighting for a SLC title and a NCAA berth in the playoffs.  Ok so now that I have said my peace let the smiteing begin!!!!
