Nicole Threatt placed 5th in the 105lbs weight class with a total weight of 595 lbs Kayden Church placed 3rd in the 114lbs weight class with a total weight of 685 lbs Congrats to both girls on a great finish and great season!!!

Buna wants to play in Beaumont at either the Thomas Center or Lamar and Deweyville only wants to play in Deweyville, Deweyville asked to play Buna and Buna rejected because of location.  Buna and West Hardin both wanted to play in Beaumont so they agreed to play each other.

Buna will play West Hardin, date time and place still TBD

seems like Donald wants Liberty to cut all sports in the district.  If you cut all the sports you have to cut all the UIL academic activities also cause that cost money too.  So no sports, no band (instraments cost $$$), UIL Academics (debate, One act play, etc...), might as well cut out the student government as well.  So now students in Liberty ISD will go to school sit in proper classrooms and after go home and work the farm or cut firewood or something, but will prob have to drop out of school in Jr High to work on the farm.

Right now the only teams with enough players to play a game are: H-F H-J Deweyville Buna Evadale Burkeville a team needs a minimum of 25 players to play.  I heard they might be playing the games out at the new BISD Stadium.  Also no money is due up front, you can pre pay but money is due on the first official team meeting with the director of the games

Buna has suprised me this season.  I knew they would compete in district but it looks like after losing their first 2 games they have found their stide winning 6 straight.  1 lose by 3A and other by 4A, wins against 3A 4A and 5A teams

I had no idea a college had welding classes ???  I just learned how to weld with a Jerry rigged system in the back yard for free!!!!

if Lamar keeps choke i mean roc for next season I saw we boycott the season and no fans show up for the mens games!!!  that should send a message.  better yet I say we boycott the rest of there home games this year to send that message!!!!!

The minimun salary as set by the state of Texas for a teacher with zero years of experience is $27,500 a year.  Different schools have different starting pays.  Yes it is sad that they got fired and I do not blame them for double dipping cause I do not know anyone who whould not do it but when the school has to pay a fine for each year they are on contract then they become the first target to get cut.  This was a financial decision made by the district not a bash against these two individuals.

I find it funny with everyone going back and forth with the FBS FCS talk.  Lamar is FCS and wanting to go FBS, if Lamar would have never left the Sun Belt we would be in the same boat as South Alabama and no one on this board would be complaining about Lamar being FBS and want them to drop down to FCS!!

looked it up and Lamar is playing at Texas A&M on 9-8-12 and and at Hawaii 9-15-12.  Could be the start of a good schedule if Lamar joins WAC starting in 2012.  Put McNeese in there for the rivaly game and get 2 ULL, ULM or Rice type teams since you get the extra game for going to Hawaii and it would be good first year FBS schedule.

If I was not so intrested in the local high school sports and lamar I would delete my profile and never log onto this site again because these types of threads are not about sports and are becoming more and more common on this site!!!!!  Just send them a PM and not start a thread, I am tired of looking at this stuff!!!!!!!!!!
