Everyone had an off night now and again. He has carried a big part of the load all season and even more so in the playoffs. Looking forward to all this young man will do in the future. And he isn’t the only one. Saw Jones make big strides this season and expect him to be that inside force the next couple years. Williams plays big inside as well. Haynes will be big as a sr next year. Bottleys defense is going to be huge. And what can you say about Miller, hopefully he won’t have a nagging injury holding him back next year. That will be scary!!

Baltrip was usually the first sub kind of a utility mostly an inside threat. Like Barnes a few years ago undersized down low but plenty of speed and jumping ability.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I wonder what kind of difference that might have made at least shooting wise for my Tigers last night. Although we don’t always shoot our best at home either.

Yes we will definitely miss both Gilder and Baltrip. Baltrips speed and hops reminded me of Barnes out there although overall on the court I think he was the better of the two. Gilder showed some good leadership this season while coming up with pay after play! Congratulations guys on your next adventures!

Tough night for a bad shooting night. An off night by a couple key Tigers. Good defense by the falcons but most shots missed were shots I have seen the Tigers knock down. On one instance we missed tree straight point blank outback’s that would have pulled us within one late in the game. Some poor choices here and there but that’s part of being young. Couldn’t be more proud of my guys you got right back to where we belong even though no one really gave you a chance!

Congratulations Huffman. Great season young Tigers. Excited for the future!! We will be back!

Probably the best we could wish for if we get there. Seeing as its about an hour closer to us than them.

No this year like was previously states our region plays region 4 in a semi final site to be determined. And even in previous years your seeding scenario was not true. They do seed the teams normally but take the top two seeds, determined by winning percentage, and place them opposite each other. The teams they face are by random draw of the other two. This is discussed every year, but since only the state championships are going to be in SA, at least as a part of a state tourney, its different this year.

I have to say i was not impressed by huffman in that seeding game. However they havent reached this point for no reason. They are going to be the type of team that can give the Tigers fits. We have to be patient on defense, play strong on that end and hit the boards. The more we can force the pace naturally the better, make good passes and decisions. This team is definitely playnig its best right now. Lets just keep it going.

From what i was told from within and what i saw this sounds pretty accurate. I saw the two tussle and arms flyins. Saw everone run that direction but really only saw the teams and others trying to seperate the action, not much other activity.

Had seen LaPorte mentioned was really hoping and kind of expecting to play in Winnie.

Turned the broadcast on while walking out of the gym just to hear this stat, big turn around in the second half. Better rebounding on the offensive end and better defense preventing them getting to the rim leading to better rebounding on the defensive end. I just dont think Connally was a very good shooting team at all except for, and i havent seen this in a while, those sweet mid range jumpers!!

We beat Lumberton by 14 not really a blowout.....

From what I have watched online and seen so far Connolly isn’t a very good shooting team but we are letting them do what they want, get to the rim and out rebound us.

Tigers have to start rebounding....

But, and think about this addition to a young Silsbee team, there is another on that BU team that does have ties to the Tigers...unless i was misled by more than one a year or two ago.

How big is Connolly biggest I see listed is 6’4 but do t trust it and it is missing a couple heights.
