I thought they listed us with only 2 today, I know 2 at 2nd, what were the other 2. Base running yes way too many mistakes there as well as errors. Got caught without even a pick off throw, what maybe 4 or 5 times in two games.

The calls at the plate looked good to me and I was right behind it. The one at second was close but the closer one to me against Jasper was the call at first that ended an inning and saved a run. Now on the other thread I was just asking what that call in the first was. I think Huey said the ball hit Partain but not sure.

What was the call in the first inning that was confirmed then changed?? Did they say the ball hit Partain??

Was a great 2 games some good plays by the Tigers today. The game last night was a great one that really shouldn't have been close with 6 errors by Jasper but one rough 1/2 inning for the Tigers almost cost us. Today's game we had a few good plays or the outcome may have turned as well. Centerfield came up huge today.

Definitely almost paid off after a nightmare 1/2 inning for the Tigers. Tiger batters showed good discipline last night as some of those pitches were just too inviting to swing at.

One question did Jasper save their top pitcher for today knowing they were facing Sundgren last night and would be at home today?

Sundgren had to come out In the sixth I believe. we walked first two in the 7th then gave up 7 runs on 7 hits . BUT Uribe won it with a 2 run walk off blast over the left field fence.

It may be tough to use score from prior games to compare teams in any sport but in my opinion baseball may be the toughest. Don't get me wrong baseball is a team sport but unlike any other it can be totally dominated by just one player. So you have to see what pitchers the teams faced when talking common opponents. You can also put a pitcher out there twice against the same lineup and he may no hit them one game and the next game he may be run off in the first inning. I have to take my Tigers in this one overall only losing 4 games all year by a total of 4 runs. Pretty solid.
