Orangefield is so fundamentally sound and patient that’s why they’re hard to beat. I haven’t seen Rusk, but ranked in the top 20, they must be doing something right. IF, and I say IF, Rusk has one pitcher like the other poster said he needs to make quick work every inning and stretch his pitch count out.

he will try to work fast but OF can hit from bottom to top even if they dont have dominant pitching

BH views Crosby as just an average program. BH thinks they should be above average and average Crosby just played for a state title. They going to keep trying to buy their way to above average because there's precedent for other schools doing it. Unless guys just don't want the job I highly doubt they're going cheap.

    Mo money, Mo problems

why would you do it for less? with all of the headache youll have to put up with, you might as well be well compensated

Just about every 4A and under job in the state is a stepping stone, with a very small amount of exceptions.  You might get a rare instance of someone finding success at a small school and staying because the talent is so good there, or being loyal to where they grew up, but 99/100 coaches are going to keep trying to go to bigger schools and make more money.    When you're talking about a school with Tarkington's talent, facilities, and pay, what coach is going to come work there and then stay if they're offered a job at a better place?  It's just the reality of it.

    exactly

the job will always be a stepping stone job until facilities are upgraded and even then, schulz just left splendora after all of the facility upgrades theyve made over there along with the commitment to quality pay

Oh, it’s all about perspective. It’s a shot across the bow at those particular WOS fans who post about it being time for a black coach.

Stick around… you’ll learn a few things.  Like don’t take me seriously.

    cool

    still racist though

Correct. Coach Holley was at KP. Left for a year and was the Director of Athletic Operations (I was wrong about AD) of New Caney. He also was on the interview committee for the Porter Job. Decided there wasn't any "good" candidates so inserted himself to be interviewed. He of course got the job over some quality candidates.

him taking over as the AD at NC isd doesnt seem like a good thing to me

granted i know mostly k-park people and not porter, but i have yet to hear something good about him
