  15. All I can say is WOW...... Where do you stand on pitching BRM? And who do you plan on starting? Good Luck!!!
  16. I agree! Whats the problem with this team and Morgan. He has always been fair with our teams and we could be considered "competition". One things for sure he runs a good program and your right these kids have worked their tail off. Just thought I would mention, because no one has mentioned it yet, the 13 Year old team went 7 and 1 and placed 2nd in the flowermound open world series that had 64 teams. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the kids and the coaches!!!!!!!! Great Job! We at GTB have alot of respect for Gladiator Baseball, We feel that they represent the same goals when it comes to kids as we do.
  17. Hitters Inc. will be having summer baseball camp for ages 6-12. It will be Mon. - Thurs. 8-4 and Friday 8-12. This will be a great camp so register now. The camp will go all summer long excluding July 4th week.
  18. Congrats Encalade!!! Much deserved and a terrific kid... They failed to mention that the kid is 2nd in his class if not 1st (as far as grades go). Good luck Grant and the rest of the Cards!!
  19. I understand there are a few exceptions but its rare. I knew guys that talked about it all of the time. I can usually tell by looking at them. And no i wasnt going on hear say. These people would even talk about how they got it. I knew one guy that would go to Mexico and his biggest buyers were high school kids because thats who he hung out with (this was ten years ago).. You can think what you want but its everywhere and easy to get. I have already started talking to my son about the problems associated with it and I will keep a close eye on him.. Yes I can name 20 from various schools when i played and it was no secret!
  20. I hate to say this but I knew at least 20 kids from various schools that were doing them in 1991... That was the ones I was sure of... Every year I hear of 10 or so kids that are taking this stuff...I coached a group of 13 year olds and followed them until the were in High School and I always had the inside scoop of who was taking them all over the golden triangle and it was obvious......Dont be Neive they are doing it even more these days. Think about it!!! How can a kid that weighs 170lbs and a metabolism as fast as a rocket gain 10 or 15lbs of muscle in a year when they run everyday, lift a little bit(two or three times a week for 35 minutes), and eat junk like most kids do these days... Listen a body builder has a hard time putting on 15lbs of muscle with steroids and a slower metabolism and he eats perfect... Its out there everywhere and the kids dont realize what they are doing to themselves and any parent the feeds it to their kids is a fool.... Ive been around it all my life!! My dad was a very successful bodybuilder in this area and took everything under the sun, but he wouldnt dare feed me the stuff especially in high school... Thats my 2 cents!!!
  21. Obviously you have no clue about what it cost to run the little league. Why do you even get on here and talk like that. This league is successful because people do the right thing. The board has worked very hard at making things a success. The repairs will be done in a timely manner. If you would like you could go price the cost of replacing everything in the concession stands(2) All fences were damaged, the netting over the park, 2 zero turn lawn mowers, tillers, all equipment in storage etc... etc... Please don't come to B.C. this year and start trouble like you have in Orange... If the candy is not to your satisfaction call someone but don't sit in Orange and run your mouth on this board about a group of people that volunteer and work very hard to keep things going for these kids. Not to mention all but a couple of board members houses were flooded and the repairs are just getting started. Every year and everywhere you have been you have complained about something. Posts like the one you did can cause nothing but trouble. If you have an issue you need to bring it to the board. > > >
