I thought it was the team with the most points!!!!.......... ;D ;D.........JK
You can't score "points" in baseball.
 5. West Hardin wins 14 to 5 ! The Oilers are now 3 - 4 on the season. Freshman Keaton Smith picks up the Win with a good 5 1/3 innings. Senior Kalep Clark gets the Save by coming in a bases loaded situation with only one out and the score 7 to 5. Smith, Clark, David Spurgeon and Wyatt Patterson each had two hits for West Hardin.
 6. Spurger 11 West Hardin 10 final Heartbreaking loss for WH. The Oilers battled back to take lead in top of 7th, only to give it up in the bottom. Exciting game..... more so for the Pirates.

 9. My Top 5: 1. Nederland 2. PNG 3. Kelly 4. West Brook 5. Bridge City
 10. Help me with the Warner kid from WB.
Preston Warner is now at Kelly. As a sophomore last year, he was West Brook's most effective and consistent pitcher. He beat 5A Regional Finalist Pearland with a complete game 3-hitter in the playoffs. Warner is 6'4" and has been verified at 88-89 mph (Pefrect Game, LSU, ...). He is playing on the Southeast Texas Sun Devils and has gotten great evaluations. Kelly plays in a tough baseball district with St. Thomas (Biggio) and Houston Christian (Mathis), but Warner should be dominate at this level also. Warner also plays the corner infield positions, and is one of the best hitters in our area.
 11.
Not yet. usually when you don't hear it's not good news, we'll see.
It is not good news. The Bruins scored in the top of the first then fell apart in the bottom half. Several walks and three errors plus a big error by an umpire led to Pearland scoring 8 runs on 3 hits..... then it got worse. Final : Pearland 13, West Brook 1 - 5 innings
 12. WB 6 , Pearland 5 Sophomore Preston Warner went the distance striking out 10. WB went into the 7th inning leading 4 -2,  then after 3 straight infield hits and a groundball single Pearland took a 5 - 4 lead. But with one in the bottom of the 7th, Derrian "Boom" James blasted a 2 run walk off HR! Reggie Wilson, Connor McDonald, and Will Henderson all had key hits for the Bruins. Warner pretty much shut down the high powered Pearland offense (there were several pro scouts in attendance to evaluate a couple of the Oiler seniors). "Boom" is also an All-District basketball player. The series deciding game will be played at 3:00pm Saturday at Clear Lake.
