1.
That makes the Baytown Fighting Lee Ganders 7-3 in district..GO GANDERS
Did Lee miss a game ? WB has played 11 district games.
2. Landon Steinhagen (Kelly H.S.) is having  a great year at Howard J.C.. Steinhagen is hitting .439, with 37 RBI and 5 HR as of 4/16/10. Howard is 31 - 5 on the year and currently ranked #4 in the nation.
3. WB 26  PAM 11  PAM led 7 - 0 through 3. Ugly game to watch.
4. With two outs in the top of the 7th and the score tied 4 - 4, Will Henderson blasts a 3 run homer to straight away CF to lead West Brook to 7 - 4 victory over Baytown Lee! It was Henderson's second HR of the game! He also threw a runner out at home with a perfect strike from RF ! West Brook improves to 5 - 4 in district, Lee drops to 6 - 3. Randall White picks up the W in relief of starter Preston Warner. Warner had another good outing, only giving up 2 ER in 5 1/3 IP. Matt Kramlick had a Double and a Sacrifice Fly. Connor McDonald and Cody Woodward added two hits each.
5. Lee wins 3 - 2 over WB. Seely gives up 4 hits , Wilson gives up 3 hits. Both pitchers went the entire game.
6. WB 2 - Cv 1 Sophomore Preston Warner goes the distance in a pitching duel with C. Cormier from Channelview. Through 7 innings each had given up only 3 hits. In the top of the 8th, Warner shuts down Cv 1-2-3. The reliever from Cv gives up an infield single to Will Henderson , Cody Woodward bunts him over to 2nd then pinch hitter Charles Walker drives in Henderson with a shot up the middle. Henderson makes an awesome slide into home to win the game !!! Warner allowed 6 base ruuners in 8 innings : 3 hits , 2 BB , 1 reach by error. He struck out 11 batters. He should be considered as one of the best pitchers in the area. He is a 16 y/o sophomore dominating 5A teams.

After falling behind early, the Bruins battled back with their bats and 6 innings of strong relief from senior pitcher Randall White. Cody Woodward and Darrien James had HR's. This evens WB to 3 - 3 in district play.
Who started for Brook?
Freshman Guillory started - he looked great in his start v. Sterling, but could not retire a batter v. Channelview.
8. West Brook wins 13 to 8 ! After falling behind early, the Bruins battled back with their bats and 6 innings of strong relief from senior pitcher Randall White. Cody Woodward and Darrien James had HR's. This evens WB to 3 - 3 in district play.
9. Sophomore Preston Warner battled for 129 pitches over 6 1/3 innings. Going into the top of the 7th, WB led 6 - 5. At that point, all 5 Mustang runs were unearned. West Brook had, uncharacteristiacally, made 4 errors. Plus there were a few plays that could have saved the game that were just not made.   In the top of the 8th, reliever Reggie Wilson gave up a bomb to the leadoff hitter, then retired the next three batters. The Bruins did not answer in the bottom of the 8th. Wilson tripled and Warner doubled  (nearly 400 ft shot to dead center) to drive in all the runs for the Bruins. West Book is 2-3 in district, trailing leaders Channelview and North Shore at 4 - 1. WB has a home and home with Channelview this week.
10. Few people realize and appreciate everything George does for baseball in Southeast Texas. He is to honery to let this get him down. I expect to see him geared up behind the plate soon.
11. Freshman Charles Guillory pitches into the 7th inning then gets 1-2-3 relief from Randall White. The Bruin bats were hot again with Triples b Darrien "Boom" James, Justin Harmon and Charles Guillory. Doubles by Matt Kramlick, Connor McDonald and Reggie Wilson. The Bruins are 11-8-1 on the season and 2 - 2 in district. West Brook hosts district leading North Shore this Friday with #1 and #2 starters Preston Warner and Reggie Wilson on full rest.
12. Sophomore Preston Warner throws a six inning 2 hitter, striking out 10. Warner also blasted two doubles. Connor McDonald had 3 hits including a double. Reggie Wilson hit a bases loaded double.
13. Reggie Wilson started for WB. It was was a pitching duel for 5 innings, then everything fell apart for WB. The kid from Lee (Seely) is the real deal. He threw hard and had a wicked breaking ball. He was in control the whole game. I believe he is only a junior.

17. WB wins 13 - 2 over tournament host team Victoria Memorial. Sophomore Alex Soper gets the save with 4 innings relief in his varsity debut.
18. West Brook run rules Pleasanton 11 - 1 on sophomore Preston Warner's 2 hitter. Darrian "Boom" James hits his second homer of the day!
19. WB wastes an early 8 to 1 lead only to lose 11-10 in Game #1. Aaron Morgan hit a monster homerun. Sophomore Logan Dugas started on the mound. Bruins play again at 7:30pm.
20. With the score tied 2 to 2 in the bottom of the 7th Connor McDonald drives in Michael Pupard to beat San Antonio McArthur. Freshman Charles Guillory pitched the first six innings then sophomore Charlie Adkins  threw a shut out 7th for the W.

22. Joking aside, Reggie Wilson is a junior at West Brook that has a definite chance to play at the next level. Reggie is a left handed CF/P that has tremendous speed and can hit for power. He covers CF as well as anyone in the state and has a cannon for an arm. He could be a leadoff man but handles the #3 spot in the order for WB. He is also the #1 starter at WB.
