Not predicting a loss. However, unless they win state, they will have at least one more loss.  If they lose the state championship game, some will blame Billy.  I know he doesn't care what they say about him but ignorance left unchecked becomes stupidity.

Just thought it was interesting enough to post.  The 4X4 won by almost 4 seconds with a pretty slow 4th leg due to the substantial lead.  The hurdles were won by the same kid by over a second.

Homeruns are very tangible - either it is or it isn't.  One thing I have learned is that it solely depends on the book keeper as to batting averages.  I have been to games where a book was being kept in the stands by a kid or a parent and see the next day in the paper some kid with 3 hits when in fact they had a fielders choice and two obvious errors.  JMO

One pitcher! Come on!  Vidor has the best (or at the top of a very short list) pitching coach in the area.  Kyle Green was Lamar's all-time strikeout leader until recently.

A lot of great posts about this game. Great job Coach Bryant and team.  Ya'll remember later in the season if you lose one or two games that all the posters on here have mentioned how young the team is.

Nothing wrong with hiring a coach.  Recruiting is definitely wrong. 

I wish him all the luck in the world.  Voters just need to remember that this was the school board's doing 100%.  Give the new coach at least three years to see if it is a good hire.  If it works out, praise the Board, if it doesn't then vote them out.

Just wondering which candidate you feel has IMPECCABLE credentials.  I know that one candidate has coached a state championship team and is known for being a disciplinarian.

Thorndale up by 21 at half.  60% shooting.  Wish I was there to see the tournament.  I am sure coach Foster will come up with a great plan to slow down thorndale.  The uil website has a live scoreboard.

Go to uil website and check out thorndale!!!!!  Only loss this year was to 4a huntsville!! No other school scored 60 points on them!!!  They beat thier opponents by an average score of 73 - 45.  I wish Big Sandy luck, but my money is on Thorndale. BTW thorndale leads after 1 period 20-9.

Saw where anderson from hd won the100 and 200 at liberty.

What was the tiebreaker for this tourney?  Kountze finished 3 - 0 with a total score of 43 - 6

and Evadale was 3 - 0 with a total of 38 - 4.  Was it runs scored or runs allowed?
