Game starts the same every week. How many times has Crosby been late coming out? There either afraid or disrespectful. You make your own decision. I had some friends in Crosby call me at home to say they were sorry for coach Flanigans actions. He is the leader and must take the blame for the actions of his team. You learn from your leader and I for one am proud to be a BRONCO parent and thankful that I do not live in Crosby. ( would relocate).
again the refs come and get you from the locker room.... if they are not there... or show up late like they did last night you don't know what is going on... If anyone was classless it would have to be Dayton for starting the national anthem before the kids even got there.... and move to where... dayton??  there are many accounts of classless acts by that coach.... does anyone really know why he did not get the job there the first time???? I do.... will not say on here... lets just say that it had to do with moralities as a person.... as well as a coach....
Now that right there is funny....Mr. Inside information
 2. One look at this playoff scenario makes me think 1 thing.  THE BCS ABSOLUTELY SUX!  How about we just skip round 1 of the playoffs and we'll appoint a group of football experts from 19-4A and 20-4A coaches to determine the winner by straw poll.  We'll also poll with one vote for a media member from each school...Beaumont gets 2 I guess and then get some computer guru to create a statistical model and we'll take a third of each method and determine who advances.  Sound good?  Makes perfect sense doesn't it?
I may be way off here but didn't BH beat Nederland THIS season 28-21?
 4. Alright if you say so then I'll take it back.  Send me the video and let me judge for myself.
 5.

When you get 4+ fumbles (forced or not) inside your opponents 40 yd line... 28-0 is not an impressive win. I don't really care rather tonight impressed you or not. A win is a win right.... that's what you said about ya'lls narrow victories over the weaker teams in our district. I almost forgot..... Class is being out on the field for the national anthem, or not delaying the game after the half. Not to mention, it took your own fans yelling at the Crosby team to take a knee. After the stretcher came out, this was unacceptable. If Stewart has 0 class, your coach is in the negative numbers. Cougtalk
obvious was an issue with clocks or lack their off in the Dressing rooms, this is never been an issue before. Well to be fair everyone was on a knee and it took a very long time for the carting to occur. kids stood up eventually. Perhaps your cueing should have waited for both teams to be on the field FYI UIL sanctioned athletic events say the national anthem should not be played until both teams are on the field. The level of Class from Dayton kids is funny when you start seeing how many times your kids were throwing shoves and facemask (that didn't get called), Your coach running up the score late shows 0 class. Your coaches literal message to our coaching staff that they would not shake hands post game is the tell all about your majestic coaches temperament.  O FYI the year he coached at crosby he had 6 separate violations that got HIM FIRED. I luv how the lack of facilities within your stadium makes us CLASSLESS? how bout learning hospitality?
I've got it now....you've got a personal beef of some sort with Stewart and it just turns that screw every year when he dropkicks you to the curb.  Funny, you actually had a good coach over there for a year and ran him out of town as fast as you could.  Coach is responsible for having his team out on the field for the National Anthem.  Game is scheduled to begin at 7...how about we just wait around until Crosby can drag their butts onto the field before we get things going here.  He can't get a watch?  Did the same thing coming out of halftime at your stadium last year as well.  No clocks there either I guess.  6 violations of what exactly?  Not telling little Jimmy he was destined for the NFL.  You talked trash, you got your a$$ whooped...be a man and own it.
 6. Congrats i guess? The Broncos Defense won the game however the refs definitely helped that offense. Like to point one thing about the Jakari play. 1) it was called a face mask not a horsecollar and 2) it was called by a ref 45 yards from the play looking at the face of Jakari (i.e. could only see the player fall backwards not the actual grasping point, not by the ref standing right next to the play. And as someone stated previously it wasn't a horse collar, i thought maybe when he tackled high he grabbed the mask, the idea that this play was in any way "dirty" is pathetic its a football game things happen. Whining about the game hardly, it solidified two things for me 1) Crosby's Offense isn't that good because of a lack of legitimate running threat and the RB positions and 2) Stewart has 0 class. To be fair Dayton did block well, minus the few blatant holds that weren't called, but hay their were 0 holds called on the cougs so lets assume it was evenly called. However on both of the big 40 yard runs the inside guard grabbed the defenders and fell to the ground (a hold by any standard). You scored 2x garbage time tds on long run plays against a tired defense, hope that makes you think ur offense is good.  minus garbage time its 28-3 regardless of what youd like to argue i'd argue our victory last year was far more impressive, ill take 28 (35 minus inadvertent whistle on a pick 6) -0 is more impressive than tonights showing, congrats to the Broncos, don't expect to go very far in the playoffs if thats your best game. As soon as you meet a shutdown defense its gameover. Well the idiot has arrived.  It’s football and things do happen.  So genius, tell me exactly how a player running forward at full speed falls BACKWARDS (your words)?  I know it may be tough but just think about the physics of it…he has to be pulled backwards by his upper body with the center of his body being used as point of leverage.  Sorry, but that’s the definition of a HORSECOLLAR tackle and I will say it again…IT IS A DIRTY PLAY.  Solidified a few things for me as well 1) Dayton was 39 points better than Crosby 2) Flanders isn’t a very good coach.  Stewart did have class enough to be on the field for the National Anthem and make it out of the locker room before halftime ended for the second year in a row. To be fair, Crosby was able to hit a few deep passes but could not capitalize. Keep going back to last year’s win….whatever makes you feel good.  When you recover every fumble in a game of double digit fumbles, you had better win that game.  I guess I’m just not impressed anymore as dropping 40 on Crosby has become almost a yearly occurrence.  Yea, you don’t sound like sour grapes at all…. Sorry pal…call Stewart all the names you want and trash talk all day on this board and the banter is fun and fine and dandy.  THERE IS NEVER A REASON UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE THAT EITHER TEAM NOT BE ON THE FIELD FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.  You come out and you pay your respects to the flag, what it stands for, and the men who’ve died in service to it.  I know all my fellow veterans in Dayton do not appreciate that and I somehow doubt that any of your veterans there in Crosby appreciate it either.  Yet Stewart is the one with 0 class….you did hit the nail on the head, “pathetic!”
 7. Jesus...this actually makes my teeth hurt
 8.
Praying for a full recovery for JD.
Glad to see that from a coug fan.
 9. There's a reason facemask and horse collar are personal fouls.  Facemask is one thing as it may be incidental and is much easier to do by accident but anyone who has ever played football knows when you feel facemask you let go.  Horsecollar falls into the same category...the major injuries occur when you grab the back of the shoulder pads and the leave your feet to bring down the other player by using your bodyweight.  Don't give me the just trying to bring the other player down excuse....you get the back of the pads you either let go or you pull back and dive for the feet.  It's no different than seeing someone get a broke neck from grabbing and twisting a facemask.  Flat out it's a dirty play and I'm sorry to see a kid injured from something that was made illegal for the specific reason of eliminating the injuries it causes.
 10. You won't see another Crosby post this year....after BH whoops that behind next week and they bow out in round 1.  Of course who knows who's coming out of 20
 11. Rebounded like a bowling ball....

Come on Coach lets see how many we can score on these punks. Oh, and just for everyone on here posting and supporting the Bronc's, open the game with the oopty-oop on the first play. Lets see a trick play. In Stewart We Trust
Why run a trick play when we are going to have our offensive line pancake block the Cougars and Jakari runs with the wind.
Looks like we got our trick play...thanks Big Stew!
AINT THAT THE TRUTH....BOUT FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR.  OF COURSE I HAD TO GET THE REHASH AS ALL I HEARD FROM WADZECK AND HAMILTON WAS SCREAMING.

Terrible,Terrible(in my best Barkley voice)
What video was it? Who shot it?
Talk to Toups
I haven't seen it on video yet, it is going to my computer now.  I did get a good angle on the tackle.  Looked like to me from the original play Jakari was horse collared (which is what the penalty was for).  The crosby's players legs might have flown around in the tackle and hit Jakari, but it looked like to me his foot stuck on the turf, the tackle pulled him back and his leg couldn't handle the stress.  A towel was thrown over the leg almost immediately after the play.  My son said he heard the leg pop.  When I was a senior at PN-G our QB had a compound fracture in the lower leg.  Jakari will have a long physical therapy process ahead of him.  Keep him in your prayers that his leg heals correctly.
Regardless of his football career, I wish the young man the absolute best and I really really hope that he heals to full strength.  I lost a season in college from a spiral thumb fracture...still never healed correctly.  I sincerely wish the young man a speedy recovery for his life and not for football.
 14. This was one wild game....probably the best game I've ever listened to on the radio...only really caught the second half on.
 15. I'd rather not see the video as those type injuries are not pretty.  If that's the case it was a cryin' shame.  The horsecollar is dirty enough.  Crosby's been dirty since at least 1990.
 16. I'm partial to Flanders personally although Flanny has a nice ring to it....I think I'd like to remove that l maybe.
 17.

A very hollow victory. Cheap skate tackle takes out Jakari for the season. GET WELL SOON JAKARI!!!
Do you feel like the hit was just kids playing ball or that it was malicious? Were you able to get it on video? Jakari will heal up as long as he keeps his head up.
The way Wadzeck made it sound on the radio didn't sound like anything resembling a clean play.
 18. Same old story for Livingston every year....no defense.
 19.
A very hollow victory. Cheap skate tackle takes out Jakari for the season. GET WELL SOON JAKARI!!!
Call it what it is Toups....Dirty play.
 20. What is it with that....every game they're late coming out.  Not to mention they were not out on the field for the national anthem.

 22.
Turnover on downs...Bronco ball at their 44 with 5 minutes to go after losing two yards on the incomplete pass.....McBride breaks a facemask tackle and rumbles 58 yards for another TD.  217 rushing yards in relief of Delasbour who had a good 69 himself before he was hurt....Broncos 42-Crosby 3....5 minutes left in the 4th.
23. The young man suffered a reported compound leg fracture from a horse collar tackle.  Please someone tell him to keep his head up and we're praying for a speedy recovery over here in Missouri City.
 24. Dayton in victory formation 42-3 final.
 25. Where's Tyrone....repeat after me...."Drive of Shame, Drive Drive of Shame."
