Coach Stewart seems to err on the safe side when it comes to kid's health from what I've seen.  Selfishly, I'd love to see him play but I get the feeling that everyone will be 100% sure he's good to go before he plays.  Either way I expect a standing ovation when he enters the game from the home side!

I just don't think this is going to be as easy of a game as everyone else seems to think.  I get the feeling the game's going to be a lot closer than the final score.

Call me superstitious but Dayton is 5-0 since I started listening to the games on the internet when we moved.  Hence, I know one person that will be listening on the radio :)! APB has been put out to Crosby posters.  They've disappeared....

It really sux that Crosby will not be undefeated in district for this game as originally advertised.  I expect Crosby to come out and throw everything on the line to try and win this game.  Dayton lost 2 district home games last decade and have really been hitting on all cylinders after the slow start on offense.  I'm guessing everyone in purple remembers last year's game and will not make the same mistakes.  I would also expect they remember cheering the injury of a Dayton player, the delay in coming out of the locker room after halftime, and the classless harassment of the Dayton radio announcer during the game.  Call it a grudge match, call it revenge, call it whatever you want.  Crosby is in for a spanking on Friday.

Hill getting better every week.  GP's 8th grade pre-district schedule is showing their start was a bit of a fluke as well.  They've got some good receivers...I figured they would at least score if the QB was on.  21-14 was what I would have guessed....wrong again!
