Why he mention Vidor when he is from Colmesneil

As an Aggie fan I'm excited to watch this game and see what the future holds with the St. Pius QB.  I'm also excited to see a good game and what this Seals-Jones kid is all about.  Coach Sumlin is in the house too.  What a grand entrance.

Trojans and Rattlers from Navasota.  This game should have a playoff type atmosphere.  I wish I could be home for the next weeks game against LaMarque that should also be a really good atmosphere.

Coldspring is the same

Coach Morrison will have the defense ready. If the offense can getting going we should be fine.  This should be a real treat early in the season.  Coldspring 21. Navasota 14. 

I was a little concerned after the first week, but after seeing some of the posts from others that went to the game I think this one should be the game of the week. 

A number two ranking for the Trojans is awesome, but we better come to play Friday or it will be short lived. 

I think this guy belongs in the dillusional category.  I agree with some of his picks, but he left a lot of good teams out.

He is new give him a break.  Later though we will have to lay the hammer to him.  Welcome to the site.

This don't look good going into the game next week with Navasota. 

What's the problem how come we can't move the ball?  I'm listening on the radio.  I thought CE King was not supposed to be very good.  Kinda disappointed in the score. 

It was 5-1 in the touchdown category.  Another nice outing against a big school.  We needed some good practice early on cause now comes a 4 week gauntlet of tough games all on the road.  We will really see just how good we are and if we can make it back to Dallas. 

Prayers for the young man from Coldspring.

To be honest we are all pretty dillusional to some point.  We all think that our teams are gonna win week in and week out, but the fact is that some schools in the area really think far higher than what their team can actually do.  That makes them more dillusional.  I'm not gonna name any, but I can think of a few especially in 22-3a and 21-3a.

I dont know if it has ever happened in San Jacinto county.  We just cant get Shepherd to play along.  ;

I dont know much about C.E. King, but they are a bigger school and it will let us all know here in Coldspring where are Trojans stand for the next three games for sure against some mighty tough teams.  Maybe not Marquee but a very good game to start the season.  If anyone knows how to get fox sports to do one of those DQ big games of the week we should contact them to do the Navasota/Coldspring game the following week.  That should be a great game very early in the season. 

The Trojans should be very good again this as Coach Barbay does a tremendous job and the offseason program is probably one of the best in the State.  We are deserving of the ranking at this point, but it is based off of last season.  We will see how good we are early on as we face two of those top five teams and two in class 4A.  I would love to see a matchup between Coldspring and WO-S in the playoffs again it should be another great matchup as I'm assured they are much improved and very strong again this year.  Should be a great year in 3A.  I think the field is wide open.

[/quote] Huffman fans say the same thing every year.  Y'all are always better than last year but, until you beat Coldspring your the same as last year district runner up.  I really believe we make another long run this year.  If that non-district schedule holds up we should be well prepared for the long season. 

I gotta at the Coldspring vs. Bellville playoff game that went to overtime.  I was on the edge of my seat the entire game. 

Great post Grad.  I really appreciate this place and everything everyone does on here to make this site what it is.  I would have to call this the #1 high school football site in the nation.  If they gave out Emmys for sports sites SETXsports.com would have to get one. 

Which game was the best of the weekend for y'all?  I thought it was awesome all three days and that all classifications of 11 man football got to play on tv.  The best game for me was the Refugio vs Cisco.  Came right down to the end.  Was very awesome weekend though. 

It has been another great year.  I have really enjoyed talking football with all of you all year.  It really is an awesome site.  I have to thank all the guys at SETX for all the hard work u do year round to make this thing run so smooth during football season.  I don't know any of you personally, but someday it would be great to all get together and hang out.  I know sometimes things get heated on here because our passion for our schools and communities, but that is what makes it so great.  It is our passion for Texas High School Football that makes this in Texas the best in the nation.  I have had people laugh at me from other states because I follow High School football and I just think to myself they don't even know what it is about.  I look forward to talking about my Coldspring Trojans again next year and hopefully making another long run in the playoffs.  I look forward to chatting with you all again in August.  I don't get on much in the offseason.  I will probably come by in Feb. to see the realignment.  Untill two-days have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and see ya for Texas High School Football 2012.  Should be another great one.

Someone please start a countdown clock for next years season to begin.  I cannot wait.  It has been an exciting year of high school football.  Even though it did not end as I had hoped it was exciting none the less.
