1. I agree with all three as well.  The for 30 for 30 film on Dupree was great.  If not for the knee injury he could have probably been a star in the NFL.  Earl played with a passion for the game I wish some still had today.  I don't think you could ever make another one of him if u had the scientific know how.  Another player that really comes to mind, but not sure if could have made the jump is Boobie Miles from Permian.  He was a man amongst boys in high school.  If not for the knee injury that 88 team may have won it all that year.
2. I wonder when Coldspring is gonna get the respect that others in the area get.  I mean we do have some history of winning.  The last two years we have to the finals and semi-finals.  Seems like everyone is always against us.  Not sure what the deal is.  We are one of the smallest 3a schools in the state and we play like one of the biggest.  The whole wiping the floor with us and all is just disrespectful to me.  We may not have a Sherman Gilbert this year, but I still think we got enough to get it done.  I guess we will see come Friday.  I think LaMarque is very dangerous and very good.  I remember watching them on film before the first matchup and I thought oh my goodness I don't know if we can beat them.  Now seeing what this has done this year I think they can compete with anyone.
3. I seen Navasota first hand early on in the season against Coldspring and they were very good.  I imagine they are much improved and better now, but back then I felt like Coldspring could have beat them if they eliminate some of the mistakes.  I don't feel like Navasota can run the ball as effectively as passing.  In fact the only real they had was on a 4th down that went for a touchdown due to poor tackling.  Now passing the ball I have not seen a team in 3A do much better than Navasota.  They have a good scheme.  They hit u short over and over and then when u try to cheat up they kill u deep.  Baker made one of the best passes I have seen at any level I have seen in awhile against Coldspring in the corner of the endzone from like 50 yds out.  He is very accurate.  Defensively they are not very big up front, but very quick, athletic and physical.  They get off blocks and get to the ball quite well.  I have not seen Jasper play yet.  Wish I had, but this is not to say Jasper cannot win this.  Like I said before I imagine the Barbay brothers have been talking about this one.  I'm sure they would much rather face eachother in the next round than Coldspring have to battle Navasota again.  Not saying Coldspring could beat Jasper either or it would be easier than Navasota, but it is very difficult to play the same team twice in one year.  Much like this weeks matchup with LaMarque again.
4. I'm sure the will be prepared.  The Barbay brothers I'm sure have talked about this one.  I think Navasota will win it, but I think it is gonna be a dog fight.
5. So on pure speculation u are gonna pick LaMarque instead of getting all the info and then making an educated decision.  Ok go ahead sounds like a good idea.
6. No if you read all of my post u would see where I said it would be a tight game with the Trojans winning.  Also yes turnovers are part of the game.  It's different when it is inside the five yard line than it is at the 50.  Coldspring also drove up down the field in that game.  It will be a different game then the first.  It is gonna be on a neutral field in a big venue.  Both teams I'm sure have improved.  Good luck to both teams. I still think the Trojans win.
7. If it weren't for turnovers down inside the five Coldspring would blew LaMarque out in the first game.  It should never had gone to OT.  I think the Trojans can pull out the win in a tight game.  I know everyone has their own opinion, but if ur opinion leads u to believe LaMarque blows out Coldspring then u are way off.
8. I don't know how u can say that.  Coldspring already beat LaMarque once this year.  I think we can do it again.
9. It sounds like its gonna be a pretty impressive first round for WOS.
10.
19-0 Coldspring at halftime. BC shooting themselves in the foot. CS returns a fumble 69 yards for first TD. Scores 2nd TD on short field. Last drive before half was impressive, 85 yards or so with good running game. BC's defense has actually played well and the Cardinals have certainly exposed CS secondary as they have thrown the ball when they had time. 4 passes for 20+ yards. The TD by CS before half hurt. Rake1
Yeah we'll they have not given up any scores.  Also in the film with WOS they had few passing yards just a like.  WOS though did not give up any scores either though.
11. I'm gonna take Livingston in this one.  It will probably be close, but the Lions pull it out.
12. I think Coldspring can score everybit of the 46 that WOS put on Bridge City.  Also think the Trojans could realistically shut them out.  I'm not much for predicting scores because you can never know what may happen.  I really think the Trojans hand the Cardinals and move to a rematch with LaMarque.
13. Who ya got.  I'm taking my Trojans in this one.  This is the start of a very difficult run in the playoffs.  With the possibility of facing three greAt teams in a row after this one.  See you all in Channelview on Friday.
14. WOS will undoubtedly win, but it will be a very physical game.  Cleveland is very physical and does not give up.  They do talk some noise also.
15. In the fall I plan my entire weekend around football and begins on Friday.  I get to go watch the school I so love and see kids that love the game for what it is.  Not for money or big time television exposure, but because they love the game of football.  I'm sure these kids have heard it already, but they probably don't truly grasp the concept that this is the last time u might get to put that helmet on and run out on the field.  I know when I was at their age I didn't.  I do now.  It has been a great season far and I'm fortunate that the school I so love is continuing their season in the playoffs.  I have been very fortunate the last few years I have gotten to see them play into December.  My hats off to the seniors and any future endeavors u come upon.  Thanks for the memories and great Friday nights in the fall.

17. It's alright man a lot of teams have had to play second fiddle to us in district.  We had to play second fiddle to Cleveland for a few years.
18. Are u gonna do it for all classifications or just one classification?
19. I would have never thought it, but Shepherd has a chance to make the playoffs if they can beat Cleveland.  It will be a tall order for them.
