1. With Livingstons qb out I gotta go Silsbee.  I think they get it 28-14.  They seem pretty tough and could give WOS a run for the district title.
2. Don't know much about the Bears.  I know they lost to WO-S early in the year.  I'm sure we should beat them as long as we don't have a letdown after the big win over La Marque.  I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 35-7.  I have never been down to that neck of the woods anywhere good to eat or something interesting see on my way through?
3. Region 3 is gonna be very tough.  I think Carthage is back in the region as well.  Whoever survives out of the Region should win the title unless they have a big letdown in the semi finals or finals.  One thing for sure they will be battle tested.
4. I don't think Hemphill has won any games yet.  I don't think the talent level around is enough to help.  I was kinda wondering myself because he did put up big numbers last year as a sophmore.
5. Navasota is very good and very disciplined.  They probably should have played for a title last year.  I hope they go division 1 again this year.  If we do have to play them again I think we could beat them.  We just have to play with more heart and eliminate the mistakes.  They are very good at capitalizing on opponent mistakes.  I love this non-district schedule and really believe it will help the boys come playoff time.
6. I hate that it took losing to Navasota to wake us up but, at least we're awake now.  I only got to listen to the second half.  From what I heard though we done a much better job.  We still need to eliminate turnovers.  We could have won the game in regulation if not for the fumble down at the 2 yard line.  Way to go Trojans.  We got another challenge again next week with LCM.
7. I have seen La Marque on video and yes they are very quick and athletic up front and very quick in the secondard.  I dont think they are any better than Carthage in 2010 and I would rank them right there with Navasota this year. I think if we fix some of our problems from the Navasota game we can beat them.  I dont think La Marque is really that good offensively.  They have athletes outside and a good little back, but there offensive line is very suspect.  The QB is gonna be under pressure all night long and the running game will probably get shut down just like Navasota.  Their QB does not throw as well as the Navasota QB.  This is all coming from what I saw on film of them.

9. For the Trojans our offensive line needs to get better and get in shape.  We have to eliminate turning the ball over.  The defense looked pretty good, but u could tell we really missed #3.  We got to do a better job of tackling also.  I know the loss hurts, but hopefully this will wake the kids up to practice harder this week because the schedule doesn't get any easier with #1 La Marque this week.
10. I'm not turning on the Trojans or anything to the sort.  When talking about the cut blocking I was referring to exactly that about the pulling.  I have never been a fan of cut blocking.  If u miss u don't have much of a chance to recover.  As a former line coach and player I just pointed out some things we need to fix.  If anyone really knew me and who I was they know I would never turn my back on the Trojans.  I'm no fair weather either.
11. One of the biggest problems is a lot of guys are out of shape.  Especially on the offensive line.  I don't where this theory of cutting every play came in, but it has to go.  Against a quick athletic defensive like Navasota u can't cut them u have to stay on ur feet and put a body on them.  Our defense looks good are offense needs a lot of help.  Whoever said about the Kirbyville game a few years a go is right on point.  I really felt we could beat them and with that loss the teams mind got right.  My hope with this loss these guys get serious and practice harder and get themselves in shape.  I don't believe Navasota is that much better than us.  I believe if we play like we are capable that we can beat them.  These kids need to get it going.
12. Yeah it is not like years past.  There are some guys though that they are working in and if they work out it should really help out the depth problem and give a little break for those who are going both ways.  I just hope we can make it through these next two games injury free.
13. Pretty impressed with this score.  Sounds like the Mustangs gonna be pretty tough this year.
14. We definitely have a lot to work on after this game.  I think we're much better than this.  I think all this will help us come playoff time.
15. This dont look good for us.  We really need to do a better job up front blocking for these new backs.  Nothing happening up front in the trenches.  Also turnovers kill us and we have to eliminate them.  The defense for the most part played lights out tonight.  We got a tough stretch here we just need to play through it and get better.

But am I the only one VERY impressed by the Pius RB? And he is only a sophomore! The kid does not quit driving his feet it's really impressive to watch. The Kelly vs. Pius game will probably be really ugly this year, but i'm still really excited for it.
Where will this game be played?  I'd love to catch it if at Kelly.
Kelly plays St. Pius twice in district. First game is at Kelly, Oct. 12.
Any Aggie fans like to catch that game with me?  I plan on making it.
Wish I could.  I would love to be at Kyle Firld for the first game of the SEC opener.
17. Sealy should still be able to make the playoffs out of their district.  Even with Jones I would pick them behind Bellville.  If he does not make it back for sure they are the runner up out of that district.

19. No wonder jones is so good he is related to Dickerson.  Only the most notable player in Sealy history.
20. That #1 for St. Pius ain't very big but he keeps driving his feet and takes hits pretty well.  Maybe some one to look at down the road.
21. If not for #4 the tigers are not much.  I hope he chooses the Aggies though he can hear the war hymn on a much grander scale for four more years.
22.
Mack Browns reaction when he heard A&M coach Kevin Sumlin arrived to this game in a maroon helicopter: [Hidden Content]
Love this.  That is awesome.
