  1. Yeah I’m talking about Lumberton. I just don’t see them rolling through everyone though.
  2. Thanks man. It’ll be a tough matchup. With no qb it’ll be tough to roll through all the district.
  3. Thanks for the in depth answer John Madden. What district is their bidistrict first round?
  4. Small school ball with some talent you have success. Gotta evolve with the level of competition.
  5. So reading through the what makes a good football program thread, how does Livingston get better? I know that there are other struggling programs too around SETX, but Livingston is a larger sized school than some of the struggling 2a and 3a schools. What needs to happen to get those kids to thrive and perform?
  6. Warren that bad? How good is that #3? As good as Evadales RB?
  7. If it works, why stop running the play? Run it till they stop it. What is the overall record for this series? There should be some sort of trophy handed back and forth if not one.
  8. I think it’s because of the big hype that occurred when Haynes came back and Starks leaving. Just a guess.
  9. This game could go either way. I’m going to say Anahuac in a close one. PATs/2pters will play a role in the game. 21-20. I could be wrong and it could go Kville. This is one both teams need to win to stay in playoff contention.
  10. They’re 0-4 so far. Lost pretty badly to HJ. Their district is rough. They will beat Elkhart for sure. Other two wins come from Trinity and Westwood. Crockett could be but i doubt it. They will make playoffs though.
  11. I don't see Coldspring getting anywhere close to beating Franklin. They'll be lucky to go 3-7.
  12. Domination by the Tigers. Not enough team speed to catch up with the Tigers. Especially if those key starters from Lumberton aren't playing.
  13. Whatever kool-aid they drink in HD is some strong stuff. Holy cow. 3 hour drive caused bad play. That's nuts.
  14. Hardin Jefferson needs this win to help their confidence. With who they have on schedule this year, getting away with a 4-6 record will be a win this year. They have to get this one, Tarkington, and HF. With LCM in relatively the same boat, I think it's going to be a battle. Both want a good showing before district to build morale.
  15. You can get whoever you want in there but unless he can bring in people to help, it’ll be the same thing over and over again. One guy can only do so much. Those successful guys have coaches that help him establish their programs.
  16. What do they run on offense? Sounds like a whole lot of everything but not very successful at it.
  17. There were 19 seniors last year. There are 14 this year. According to max preps.
  18. I’m going with Concordia Lutheran on this one. Basing that decision off last years scores on max preps. Played St. Pius X to an 11 point game 53-42. That St Pius team beat College Station by 17. I know it was last years team but it’s something to go off of.
  19. Kountze won one game last year. Got waxed by Warren the last game and last year they had better backs. The running back for evadale would play at silsbee and start at lumberton. No one on the previous three teams have been close to that. Up a division doesn’t matter. What does matter is that deweyville knows they can compete and be in this game. They are tough kids. That goes a long way in small school ball. Matter of least mistakes and who has the ball last.
  20. I’m going to agree on that score or something relatively close. BC has scored 27 points on the season and 13 came from the anahuac game. I don’t see them putting up much against a highly skilled Silsbee team that is looking for its first win after going through the gauntlet of PNG, Newton, and Nederland.
