Is it the overall coaching, culture, or the proverbial “water” that hampers their success? I know it’s tough for a team that struggles annually to turn around. That’s the often asked question of “how does one turn a program around?” Especially playing teams like jasper. There are teams like that all around the area.

They could hire Billicheck and they’d still want the baseball program to succeed. I know some bad stuff has happened at Kville but some is self induced. Until you get a guy in who wants to coach his butt off in football and hire guys who want to do the same you’ll be subpar. You can’t tell me and all of setxsports that’s whats going on in kirbyville. I don’t buy it. The dude is a heck of a baseball coach. For sure. Went to state for heavens sake. But it can’t be easy devoted you’re time in football and baseball.

A well rested lumberton will destroy a newton tested kirbyville team. Doesn’t matter if they played them or not. Lumberton will win by a minimum of 5 touchdowns.

HJ beat them both last year. Coldspring by 4 more points. I think Tarkington will be better coached all around this year. Also with the games leading up to HJ and Tarkington, I think Tarkington has an easier road. Hj will have gone through East chambers woodville and lcm. Tarkingtons hardest opponents Anahuac and hamshire. Believe what you will, but I think Tarkington will pull it out in a close one.

I don’t see many teams on their schedule that are locks to win. They could go 0-fer. I think they’ll beat coldspring. Tarkington will be better coached. I think Tarkington will outscore them in the end. 1 win. Maybe two with Hargrove.
