agrees with slam....lets get our football program back up and running before we even think about adding bleachers. There are more important things to be done to LCM before they should even think about adding more bleachers to the football stadium... Like passing the bond issue and getting the classrooms fixed.

I commend the coach on this. He is teaching these young men to be responsible for their actions. I hope that they learn from this. Good luck to both teams Friday night.

I just have to put my two cents in. First off, I do not know this young man and I wish him all the best and rest of the BC community. This community have been through soooo much. Second, was Matty enrolled in BC for the 09 school year. If he was than how can all of you say he was recruited. Also, I don't think it is against La school rules not to recruited but I might be mistaken on this. Whether or not this young man decided to move from BC to Lake Charles is no body's but his and his mother business so until you are in his shoes and now exactly why he chose to go Lake Charles I honestly think everyone needs to keep their opinions and accusations to themselves. Just maybe the ones that are making the accusations are jealous because little johnny wasn't recruited just my opionion.

Brubank well put. This thread isn't about Burnett or PNG it is about the Dogs & Bears. Once to thank the other schools that posted threads and have not been negative towards the Bears. Yes we know we have problems and like I said before hopefully they will be fixed by next year. Good luck to all the schools and everyone plays injury free and shows good sportsmanship.

Just a couple of things. Thank you Bulldog's for not running the score up worst than what it was. I honestly can't see how people can say that the purpose of the game is to run the score up make the other team feel worst than they do. To me intentionally running the score up is poor sportsmanship. NO I'm not say the bulldog's did that by any means. The purpose of the game is to win. When it is 28-0 at the end of the first quarter I think you can say that the opposing team is going to have a hard time climbing out of that hole that they are end. If memory serves me there is not a team in the district that had a season or two where there teams struggled. LCM is going through a very rough time and hopefully things will change in the near future for our school. Once again I will say I am proud to support the Bears regardless of the score. I will be there in the good times as well as the bad. Thank you Bulldog's for a well played game. Good luck with your remainder games should be a interesting finish to a great district.

Islander you are right the life has been sucked out of the bears by Moody but staying away and not supporting them isn't the answer. I will say this I am so tired of people from other schools that come on here and bad mouth the boys. Some of the people doing this need to really stop and think about what they are saying because their schools have not been that competitive in the past and have just recently become competitive. Our boys are trying their hardest and to be degraded and put down by other people who don't know what is going is not right. All I got to say if you don't have anything positive to say than keep it to yourself offer some encouragment to the Bears. I will continue to support the Bears regardless if they win or lose. Come Bear fans come out and show these young men that your behind them regardless show your spirit.

Bears will probably not win a game this season. The guys are playing with heart but just isn't good enough. Do hope the school board does some house cleaning but I doubt it. The stands are dead also. Must say the performance from the Central band was very entertaining enjoyed it very much. Will be there on Friday night supporting the guys.

OMG....I can't believe some of the posts that are going on here. You are putting down LCM young men because alot of them chose to play one sport. You have no right to do that. My son has chosen on his own to play just one sport that is his chose not mine. What gives you the right to sit there and judge why LCM guys chose to or not to play just one sport. Unless you have a son in the program why don't you keep your opinions regarding that to yourself. Yes, the LCM community is not happy with Moody but you know what we have to deal with him not you. Also, to say that the football players don't play more than one position you need to make sure that you have your facts straight. I know for a fact that there were several players last year and this year that are playing both offensive and defense. It is truly sad that we ALL are suppose to be GROWN adults why continue to beat a dead horse. Why won't you just let it go that Moody screwed up last week instead of continuing hashing over what he did or didn't do and what the LCM community should have or shouldn't have done. We are not in his shoes so please leave it go. No I'm not happy with him but all I can do is voice my opinion when we have a school board election or go to a school board meeting that is the only way that we can change things. I don't know the man and I'm not pleased with the way that he is coaching. Yes, I think LCM could have more winning seasons than they do. I do know this, that parents need to keep there noses out of it and let the coaches run their practices the way they see fit and if little johnny or mary don't like it than let them quit. The ones that are truly dedicated and wanting to play will do whatever the coaches ask of them. My parents didn't tell none of my brothers or sisters coaches how to coach and I feel that I am a better person for it. I was pushed and pushed and was taught never to give up and I think I'm a better person for it. Ok...Im done and off my soapbox....

stangchain, People on here were saying that LCM bought the refs. That is unfair. Unless you know it for a fact and can prove it don't make assumption. In every game refs do miss alot of calls that ALL fans say should have been called they are only human. What Moody did last week when he canceled the game affect the whole LCM community in so many ways. I graduated from LCM and my children now attend there. I will always bleed green and gold regardless. I am very proud of ALL the boys that played there hearts out there on Saturday and honestly hope that things will get better for them and I will continue to support them. Please don't blame the LCM community for what one man thought was the best thing to do.

Ethan is a senior and wish him a speedy recovery. Im so tired of the cry babies on here making excuses either about their team or opposing team or the refs. I think the Bears played well considering what they were up against. If I'm not mistaken I think the mustang beat the bulldogs last week pretty bad so were are the excuses about what the bulldogs did wrong. I give all the LCM Bear's that played last night kiddo's for putting there hearts into that game. They did there best and that is what should count. Yes those boys know that it is going to be a long season for them but I will continue to support them and wish them the very best. Those boys can not help that Moody doesn't have a clue what is going on. It is ashamed that so many boys decided not to play football because of this man. This should be a sign to our school board that they need to really need to get rid of him. If you have something negative to say keep it to yourself. Alot of the boys come on here and see what negative comments are said about them and that isn't right they only do what they are being told by their coach.

Moody does play favorites he did it last year. It is sad that everyone in the stands knew that he played favorites. The same players got the ball on every play and he ran the same play everytime up the middle. The bears had alot of talent on their team last year but Moody didn't know what to do with it. I honestly believe Dan Hooks could go into LCM and turn that football program around with the players that are there. The boys are the ones that suffer because Moody does not know what he is doing. You would have thought that our school board would have realize that last year and got rid of him. I was told that alot of the boys that played football in the past did not go out for it this year simply because they did not want to play under Moody again which is sad. I honestly hope our school board is listening to the parents and seeing what is going on and they do not renew this man contract for another season.

Well said VP.... It is time everyone builds that bridge and get over it. If you didn't like how loud the music was than go to the principal or coach and say something don't come on here and contiune to complain about it. Undoubtly it didn't bother the guys so just let it die. It isn't about who can play their music the loudness or who has the most obnoxious fans it is about the game. It is about showing sportmanship and playing because they love the game.

I don't think the bears are on a sinking ship. They need to adjust their attitudes and play ball like they know how. Will keep my thoughts to myself on who I hope wins this game.
