22 3A  EC 1 and Orangefield 2 - this could go either way - but I think Orangefield will finish 1
and they have Kirbyville finishing 4th and 8th... prob right on the 8th..

After watching West Brook at the scrimmage this past Saturday and knowing that they have a new coach, I think they make the playoffs this year.  

Us too.   I think Roy Report does a little more research into the current season while TABC pretty much just looks at the previous season.   Wish we were ranked about 20-25 instead of #7 I want our girls playing like they have something to prove!
Scrimmage Saturday with United was a hell of a contest!    Wish we were on each other schedule.

I'm going to be following this Jasper team.  Very interested to know how good this team will be once the length gets on the court.  
And during the scrimmage, several United fans thought Jasper was ranked.  I told them they wasn't  (then looking at tabc).

Yea, Jasper has a scrappy bunch that plays good defense and they have like 3 guards that can get to the cup any time they want.  Its just they have no real length down low.
Once United figures out that they'll have many opportunities for them to shoot and they should actually TAKE the shots, SheWolves will be fine.   Also, our bigs need to work on their shooting touch on the block.  
Memorial  has a couple of guards that can play.  Nice handles.  Actually, there's a nice looking big on JV that should be on varsity, IMO...
Didn't really see anything out of the ordinary from West Brook...

Fun game to watch, I think Legacy was up by 15 points at one time. PNG fought back to tie the game up with less than a second left in the game! Legacy had the lead the entire game, with exception of a 12-12 tie in the second qtr

Our length is in volleyball still.

As a parent who has watched a lot of girls basketball over a span of the last ten years, I can understand your stance. Most high school girls basketball is not an easy watch due to the overall skill level on the floor. Even watching most "select" / AAU games is an acquired taste due to the fact that most games are overly physical, hand checking, grabbing "D-up" games where full court pressing is used to generate turnovers, resulting in most of the points being from layups, as opposed to half court generated offense.
It is a treat when you get to see games that involve teams running half court sets that feature motion without the ball, and teams that can knock down shots ranging from floaters, to mid-range shots, to 3pt exhibitions. I understand completely that defensive pressure and turnovers are a huge part of the game, I am just speaking to how the physical nature of the girls game is ramped up most times to cover up a lack of skill or to rub out more skilled player(s).
You will enjoy this game as it will feature some of the most highly skilled players we have in this area. All of which have worked since a young age at their craft. I know this because my daughter has been fortunate enough to compete (very much uphill I will add, lol)  against them in practice and with them at tournaments during AAU seasons and workouts through the years. 
Good luck to both teams.

Maybe all this work we are doing on here and other sites - promoting our girls is paying off a little!!   Glad to see it!

I assume you are talking about college program, because there is obviously no recruiting in High School programs.  😁
