The good news is we have seen their offense a couple of weeks ago... The bad news is they are faster than the team that was running it.  Nederland has to play mistake free football to have a chance.  No blown assignments, no missed tackles and no penalties.  Offense is going to have to step up.  I thought field position played a big part in the MCM, we are going to need that again this week.  As long as we make them play on a long field and the defense doesnt give up big plays, Nederland Can win.  It also helps to score more points than they do...lol.

LMAO @ NDNWarrior!!!!!  Whoop and hollering on page 8 and quiet as a church mouse since...LOL!!!  Thats why I love coming to this board, always makes me laugh.  That was a good game tonight.  Probably shouldnt have been as close as it was, but its a rivalry and thats what usually happens.  PNG can bounce back.  Reminds me alot like last year.  Good luck to both teams the rest of the way and thanks for making me proud to live in the mid-county community!

Go PNG [/quote] When you say begining of the season, are you referring to the 42 points allowed three weeks ago or the 34 points allowed two weeks ago?  No doubt they had a great night tonight but Central is not exactly an offensive juggernaut.  I believe they have only gone over 30 points 3 times this season.  Vidor is even worse than that, so I wouldnt put alot of stock into the past couple of performances.  Their offense will carry them as usual into the 2nd round and will probably bow out after that.

WOW...shocked by this one.  I thought PNG was one of the top teams in the state?  Were they looking past this team or what?  This has to be the biggest upset of this round.  Thought they were going to be ready for this one, just suprised they started so bad.  Also shocked about the unsportsmanlike penaltys towards the end of the game.  Normaly they have alot more class than that.  All-Around bad night I guess for PNG.
