I don't necessarily think it will be a "blowout", but double-digits no less. And that is correct, I am not a PNG guy. I have seen almost every team in this area play this year though, and would be willing to field bets on PNG -10

yes I was right there over him as they were performing cpr on him, I was holding my daughter who at the time was three, ironically, the guy had had a previous heart attack and you wouldn't believe it but he had it at a PNG game also come to find out.  Poor fella should stay away from the PNG games as his heart cant take the excitement lol

I agree, like someone else referenced, the New Caney playoff game from last year (which I would like a rematch of) and the 2nd CE King playoff game that they should have won after leading the entire game.
I was talking to another dad yesterday as the Jaguars practiced.  I told him I seen something in the Nederland game that I hadn't seen in MANY years.  Fight and not quitting from the boys.  Central led most of that game until late in the 4th.  As Nederland scored the late TD and later the FG to take the lead, many of the old Jaguar teams would have folded up, packed it in and quit.  They would have been arguing on the sidelines and coaches walking around with their heads down.  I didn't see that 2 weeks ago.  It was 3rd and 35 with less than a minute to go and I watched as the offense confidently broke the huddle and picked up half the distance needed for the 1st.  Then on 4th down, the QB drops back and with no hesitation tosses the 1st down to our best WR.  From that point they punch it in for the win.
I also told him, Nelson and Company don't "play" with the team like the predecessor did.  You know who is in charge, the assistants are out actually coaching, correcting and instructing, not just hollering and fussing.
Regardless of what happens Thursday, I like the direction that the football program is heading and glad to have 2 boys and a nephew under Nelson and Company...

You know its funny you mention Dre Dunbar, I remember watching him come in scrub time his junior year and seeing him scared to make contact and thinking to myself man we are gonna be in trouble with him being a senior the next year. Well first thing out  the gate against Barbers Hill the kid comes out beast mode has two or three interceptions, a fumble recovery or two and  one pic I think was a pic 6. Kid his senior year went Beast Mode. Im not sure what happened on his summer off but damn he turned out to be a baller. On this particular play he just happened to be in the right spot and for the ball to bounce off of ole boys facemask right into the only guy out there that had the speed to outrun Centrals players was him. The roar of the crowd says it all, Sorry Soulja1 I didn't go get it but it didn't take much prodding to get someone who did lol. 

might be true I couldn't tell you  but we have seen our Fair share of State Championships and State Finalist appearances. And their was a streak of 19 years that the boys across the tracks couldn't  get a w , just saying!!

Yup OLe Waguespack had a foot on him also, Ancelot did get the crowd involved, gives me Goosebumps just thinking about the good ole days lol, Makes me wanna go pull up YouTube and watch Ron McGill (Chatangier) now and Boast  and the defense wreck shop lol That trip to the semi finals was a fun ride. I  quit several night jobs so I could chase the playoff run lol, man that was fun.

Won't have to worry about that this game. Indians will have the game well in hand.

as  well you should be, kid is a beast. You will get an eyes full come Thursday night. He can take it to the house from anywheres on the field. He will work the sidelines passes here and there, he will go deep and the ball will be on the money. When It is said and done I m sure we will be hearing excuses as usual. Im glad Central is peaking at just the right time, will make it that much more sweeter when PNG walks out of their second home field at the butch, think we gonna call it the Cherokee Butch from here on out. Shug is better than Dustin Long bar none. But TEAM wise Dustin Long was blessed with a Complete TEAM behind him in every aspect of the game. We had talent at every position, 2 to 3 deep. Bo Wortham, LIL Jeff Bergeron, Joey Price, Defense Lang, Budwine, Golke, The baxter boys CB was my favorite trash time back up runningback would come in and all he would do is score lol. Im glad that PNG was blessed for both of these tremendous QBs to wear the Purple and white, Not to mention the Memories. Im just curious to see all of Shugs Accolades after his Senior year is complete he is gonna set all kinds of records at the pace he is going lol

Its going to be a long night for the jags, PAM couldn't stop us and they have the best defense in the district. Vidor had no answer and they tried to hold the receivers.  I'm not so sure why everyone seems to think that they can stop PNG in district. The Playoffs will be the tale of two tapes. I would love to see us make a decent run like last year, I love getting to see extra playoff games . Shug is very poised in the pocket and throws the ball on the run as good as anyone out there. They were very vanilla last night as for as going down the field. They were able to run on Vidor and move the chains, and throw vertical as well. To me Vidor seemed smaller than recent years, they made some good tackles and never gave up hats of to them, played a very good game. Haven't seen Central play this year but evidently their secondary can play I cant wait for the game Thursday, Ready to See Shug and company do what they do light up that scoreboard. As with every opponent I guess we will hear excuses like it was the refs, flags saved PNG, yada yada yada. I think yall need to get a lil more creative in the excuses department.
