Injuries and lack of depth has hurt both teams all season.  I am not gonna lie though, it would be nice to be homecoming spoilers.  Warren will take it 18 to 12.

Starting to find some scrapes. Not being worked much but at least it is beginning.

Looks like a good opening weekend forecast.  Moon is bright though.

There was nothing better than listening to Milo call the game.  Spent many a day driving to work or at work listening to him.

Small school kids have more opportunities to be competitive by being able to compete in more things.  Also helps in being more well rounded. If you are a good athlete, you will rise to the top no matter what you are doing.

Buna and Kountze definetly lost a lot due to graduation. Kirbyville brings back a talented pitching duo.  Anahuac was young as well.  I agree with the you guys on the rankings.  This is always a competitive district and this year will not be an exception.

Warren lost some key players to graduation but also return some key players.  Some move-in's look to be some big contributors as well as some solid sophomores.  A big plus ( and minus for football) is that most of these kids did not play football this year so that they could concentrate on baseball only.

Seems weird to see the defense keeping us in a game.

Kyler has some wheels.  Defense has looked good so far.  Myles is a beast and Daylon in on a few tackles.

Keshawn Adams kid looks like he will be a chip off the old block.  HIs dad was a good runningback  back in the day. He is a great kid as well.

Thanks for updating the game for us.  Way to start the season off guys.  Congrats to Coach Buckner on his first win as a Warren Warrior.

How did Warren look?

​We are hoping it will.  Like you said, we need someone to committ to the boys.

Warren was the district champs for JV last year.  There was some really good athletes on that team and some size as well.  We will have to see how they do on the varsity level.  At least it is a positive.

NO worries Buna.  Come back strong in the next two.

Elkhart use to always knock Warren out of the play-off's. Buna will get redemption for us this year.  Get em Coogs.

We are playing really good ball right now.  We just need to keep playing to that level.  Warren will be playing next week.

CH played a good game. They had 1 error in the field on a routine fly ball. Their big errors were getting picked on steal attempts twice. Caught them leaning to much. Kelby pitched a gem. Only giving up 2 hits. Don't know the strike out total but he had alot. Warren defense was spot on. No errors that I can think of. Warren had runners on base every inning. When we scored the leadoff batter walked, next batter walked, and then Hunter Jacobson then hits one up the middle. You kinda had a feeling that whoever scored 1 run would take it. A lot of small ball.
