i haven't seen the nederland or central qb, but that thomas kid from dayton is pretty tough. he has a lot of speed and made pretty good decisions throwing except for that one int. his receivers dropped passes at critical times that killed some of dayton's drives.

other than the opening drive of the second half dayton looked completely out of sync. they also had a few dropped passes when their receivers were wide open. it looked like our offense wore down their defense as the game progressed. with most of our team going both ways that says a lot about the conditioning at wos. dayton had a much bigger team when it came down to the numbers on each squad.

you guys from BH just can't let it go. we played our 1st string because we don't have a 2nd string. i was at that scrimmage. we only dressed 28 varsity players with silver helmets. the guys with white helmets were from the junior varsity scrimmage earlier that day. so you can believe whatever you want. if it was only a scrimmage to you guys why are yall still complaining we had our 1st string in the game. it's over, yall need to start worrying about wharton and forget about wos.

i'm not worried, because win or lose we just need to see something positive out of this game. of course we want to win, but i think our main goal now is to prepare for our district race. i'm glad to be playing a great team like dayton it will make our kids better in the long run.

looking at the week 0 schedule the only major upset i see that could happen is Ozen beating West Brook. but i still think WB wins. i wish that game was on saturday, would love to see it.

vidor has proved in the past a tough place for wos to play. there was a stretch of either 2 or 3 losses in a row at pirate stadium. we finally got over the hump and beat vidor at their house in 2003.

i just hope it will lose strength somewhere along it's path.

the bottom line is who won the game?
