I heard Vidor is lining up in an X formation behind the line only to perform 7 fakes before throwing it downfield. This is called the Vidor high-x play. Watch out  Dogs for this play.

I talked to and old buddy of mine in Vidor. He gave me some inside scoop about the Pirates. Before anybody gets bent out of shape he didn't tell me I could not post this. So Coach Mathews, I apologize if you did not want this out. Here it is. Vidor is breaking out a new offense for the Nederland game. It will consist of a Power "T" formation with the QB under center. A FB directly behind the QB and a LHB and RHB to each side of the FB. There will be two wide outs lined up tight off the tackles. At the snap these burners will criss cross in the backfield while the FB runs a dive left or dive right. At this point the QB has four options. Either WO, the FB dive, or keeping it himself. THEN, depending on which way the QB decides to go, he can then run the triple option with the two HB's. I was told to watch for a lot of triple fakes, then fake triple option, with a pass to the previously mentioned criss crossing WO's running seam routes off the triple fake. Here is the real kicker. A triple fake, fake triple option with a pump fake to a Statue of Liberty. Look for this at least twice in the game. Given all that. Nederland 27 - Vidor 18

They have a couple of good Chinese restaurants as well. Starbucks located out by walmart as well as an Outback Steakhouse. If you have time there's a Logans Roadhouse off the loop by the mall, along with a Cheddars, IHOP, and a Buffalo Wild Wings(just realized I'm starting to sound like I work for the Lufkin chamber of commerce....).

After PN-G whipping up on the bye week this week and Daytons loss I would be careful of making any playoff predictions just yet........lol

Me and boys enjoyed it all. I must admit just going by our members name, i took at first glance BG as liltex, and liltex as BG. Thanks to BG for welcoming us as soon as we arrived. Our host Mr Sanchez ran a good show and Smoking Baby was as cool as a fan. Sorry I don't remember my crosstown rivalry fan, but glad to meet you as well. Robanadana held the Pirate Ship down and I hope to do this again soon.

Glad you enjoyed it Buddy! I've owed you for awhile. I, too enjoyed the show and seeing the crew. It was great to finally meet The Smoking Baby, and especially the Mayfield family. A pair of nice young men that we'll be hearing good things about for the next few years. Glad the show was in my neck of the woods and looking forward to doing it again.

You do what is right by your children and forget what someone behind a keyboard is saying. I have personally never heard one single thing bad about your kids. I have die hard Nederland fans in my immediate family and never have those guys had anything bad to say about them. The guys follow everything about the Bulldogs if your kids were rebel rousers or trouble makers they would have told me. DOnt sweat it. We can look at it another way  Crosby 25 Nederland 20    Dayton 41 Nederland 22. This is a bit more recent.

I was just sitting here thinking about how cougar14 always says that if dayton didn't have mc. Bride that they would sucks even more. And that if we took mc. Brides stats away from the game last year then dayton wouldn't have even came close to crosby score (sorry cougar14 we still have mc. Bride) so I decided to look up the boxscore from last year and I'm not sure who crosby lost last year on the offensive side of the ball but this is the way I see it.

No twins = 508 yards lost and 4 touchdowns lost. = 109 yards of offense and 6 points.

Now take away what dayton lost on the offensive side = Landen Tamsin = 58 yards lost and 0 points lost = 288 yards and 27 points

So since cougar14 likes to think about it that way then here we go
