FBM at home this season. None of that moving the game mid-week and changing the time crap.

Two coaches who have reached the State Championship in the last few seasons.

We only scrimmage LCM this season

I know MCM get the majority of the recognition in this are, even state wide, but Jasper vs Silsbee should be on any local lists. PN-G vs Nederland is a 100 year rivalry this coming season. The 100th meeting between them starting in 1925. The thing about this rivalry is that these kids play together in Babe Ruth, back yard baseball, football, and most have family in both cities. They may have hate for each other for a week or tw, but the rest of the time the cross community support for each other is very large. When you look at Silsbee vs Jasper their isn't a single ounce of love lost between these two schools. I would put their rivalry up there with PNG and Nederland. I wish it got more of the recognition it deserves. Jasper vs Silsbee started 3 years earlier than PNG vs Nederland in 1922. They have played 79 times. The record between the two is 45-31-2 in Jaspers favor. I would rank this as the second best rivalry in SETX sports coverage area. Its a shame it get overshadowed, it deserves more attention.

Did you attend the spring game or practices?

Exactly my thoughts. He has a great deep ball as well.

This is Shea. Pretty fast for his size. Nearly unstoppable on short yardage runs all season last season.

Offers keep coming in QB Shea Adams received an offer from Navy today. Thats multiple offers for him now. Last Year our LT went to play for Air Force and enter the Air Force Academy. Now Our QB has an offer to do the same at Navy. Shea is 6'5" tall and about 220.

Impressive record and looks like a great man,

Great work, Hats off,

Yes Alabama looking and Texas offering. This team has a lot of talent. I believe you will see many head off on scholarship by the time they are seniors. Jackson is only headed to his junior year and already offered from Texas and probably Alabama sooner than later. The freshman going to Soph is getting looks as well. At 6'7" 270 he has much room to fill out and unique athletic set of skills as well. Line is looking crazy for this year. Hard to imagine Nguyen, Chatagnier, and Shea Adams all running from behind this line. This team is shaking out to be pretty good.

Heres to hoping his dad coaches a long time.

Coach Faircloth brought PNG back to the map. I give him his just dues. 6 Trips to the 3rd round. I wonder how many local schools would trade for that? Id bet it would be a bunch. Not to mention he owns almost every statistic in PNG history. Not all but many.

Ty I only meant to honor the greatness of WOS and how we look similar defensively. You guys aren't just the Bench test for SETX you are the Bench test for Texas sitting right on top of the highest winning percentage of any school in any classification ever. What about an amazing feat.

OK so we have two lineman who had Alabama watch then recently and several more being looked at by other colleges. Shea has offers at a few places, Jackson Chistian has offer all over the US, freshman going to Soph Wolford who is 6'7" 270 is also being looked at. Nguyen and Chattinger look like an amazing backfield.. Two WRs are 6'2" and 6'3". The defense is very big for an Indians defense. They are everywhere. Please don't shoot me for this I only mean this as a point of respect. PNGs defense looks like a WOS defense. They are big, fast, and so physical that they knocked their own teammates helmet off during the game. This team could be special. They still have some kinks to work out buy they are light years ahead of last years spring team. They are huge on the o Line 270, 290,300 are 3 of them. D line is very bug as well. A lot of speed in the secondary with Chase Johnson back and droddy as well. This team is sold on what Coach McDaniel of Katy is selling them on defense. He is one of the best DCs in our 99 year history.

Congrats Cosby looks like a great hire. The kiddos and fans of Crosby deserve a good coach. Best of luck Crosby I wish you well. -
Another thing. It was such an honor for PNG to make it back to state. I hope it is something that great and mighty programs like yours, Carthage, GPNS, Katy, the Dallas schools never take for granted. How many does Aledo have now? How many trips to state and how many won? For PNG we have made State 7 times and won 3. I can assure you every PNG fan is proud, and thankful for the rare rare chance we get to go. Another cool fact about PNG is that our SC trips are in cycles that are eerily similar. We made it to state in 53, 54, 55. Then 75, and 77, then 99, then 2022. That's 20 years, 22 years, and 23 years. It almost like we go every 20-22 years. Before there was a SC we also won33, and 34, 46 and 47 regional championship. That's as far as you could go back then. I know we don't compare to great programs like Aledo and many of these other perennial powerhouses, even like a WOS the greatest program from SETX along with Newton, we make up for in community support, for our program. We have also been lucky the last 15 years with great coaching hires. We don't have move ins, transfers, or even open enrollment. That's not an excuse, just stating a fact. If this bores you I offer my apologies. I hope you guys at Aledo are preserving your history for future generations. You have such an amazing program. Its needs to be documented so 30, 40, or 50 years from now future generations can look back at the amazement that your program is producing now.

I am a stats person. I like to see the unfolding early then I can feel more comfortable making a long term observation. Forgive me if this sounds obvious. I study stats religiously for PNG and work with the Indians site to collect them for as far back as possible and as well as todays stats as well. Right now we are working on a PNG video library of games. We have games from each decade starting in the 1950's until now Still have a lot of work to do but Id say we have built quit the library. The games from the 70s back ofcourse are all 8mm film, but watching the greatest RB in PNG history who played 20 years before I was born was amazing. He won the SC in 1955 and still holds the career rushing record at PNG. Noone has broken it. Not Roschon, or Trahan, or McGill, or even the great Bergeron. Thats an amazing feat to hold a record that long for any school. Roschon was nearly 400 yards behind Gordon and Bergeron probably the fastest B to ever walk the halls of PNG was 1100 yards shy of LeBoeuf.

Ill take Coach Joesph's approach. Lets win one game at a time and work on trying to win district. The Indians defense looks very strong this year. I have hopes of a good season.
