I try to stay off the political board. I however really feel strong about this issue. I am not real sure about who is aligned with what party and do not really care. I am really tired of the bad rap our law officers are getting. Not saying anyone here supports that theory. I am not saying that there are a few bad apples among our law enforcement, but I will never take the side of a criminal. Period. Thankyou to all of our officers who risk there lives each and every day. They are the true American hero's. Next to our military. Thus ends my forey into the political boards. FF helps me to pay attention to other teams even some I hate. I gues you can say it opens up my horizons some in the NFL. Not to mention that working in a fire dept its really special when you win because the trash talking goes on until next year!!!!

[/quote] I think what bothers people is that some PNG fans believe that they have the market cornered on honor, pride and tradition.  I'm a lifelong Bulldog and even I have a great deal of respect for PNG, but there is certainly an elitist attitude about the fandom over there at times.  Over the past 15 plus years Nederland has had the same coach, uniforms, traditions and better winning percentage.  The difference is that it isn't shoved in everyone's face like it is by our Mid County neighbors.  Y'all are no different than any other community when the program struggles, as evidenced by last year.  With that said, if / when there is a drop off in Nederland's program I fully expect the fans here to get restless as well. You are lacking a certain ability to not hate because you can't stand for PNG to do well.  You hate it  We get it but it makes you look like a very jealous little kid when you say stupid things like that

I guess no one has ever told him hating is bad...... TC will be an extremely tough match up for us. They have 2 UT commits on their team and they are loaded at most positions. This will be a great opportunity to see how our young team handles the pressure a top 10 ranked team will throw at you. Looking forward to reading about this one will miss it due to work
