  1. Tenaha has steadily improved to 8-3 in 2006 and a 10-4 run to the Division II regional finals last year in Class A. With eight offensive and nine defensive starters returning. All-State returner Marlon McClure will be utilized by Tyner at quarterback, running back and wide receiver to help give his triple threat even more opportunities to handle the football. Last year McClure (Sr.) finished the year with a school-record 29 touchdowns. He rushed for 910 yards and 13 touchdowns, while catching 47 passes for 863 yards and 15 more scores. He averaged 18.4 yards per catch. And, if that wasn’t enough, he scored on a kick return and interception as well. That’s right, he intercepted 12 passes on the season. And although he was injured part of the year and overshadowed, Tenaha running back Cameron Choice ran for 1,219 ‘quiet’ yards, averaging 7.1-yards per carry and scored 12 TDs. He also caught six passes for 78 yards. Choice has approximately 3,500 yards for his career at Tenaha. School mascot is the tiger.

  2. The Bobcats looked good to open their season. But what really impressed me was the Bobcat fans. That had to be one of the loudest games ever !!! My Hardin friends said they could hear the Bobcat fans big time. Chants of defense and Bobcats echoed through the stadium. H-D's Bobcat Pride was clearly showed all night long. I'm looking for the Cats to go undefeated. Kountze will be the only team that MIGHT challenge the Cats. Kountze is like Hardin a bigger school. Although Hardin beat Kountze the last few seasons, and we just beat Hardin. Good Luck Bobcats !!! Remember Pride and Tradition !!!

P.S. BRUSHPILOT quit making excuses !!! H-D dominated Hardin all night long, and the score board made the game look close. People that were at the game no better. And as far as the passing touchdowns not be contested that is a lie. On both TD'S the WR beat the DB by maybe two yards. Just a case of more speed plain and simple. NO MORE EXCUSES !!! 3. Hey 55 let the trash talk begin punk i hope yall get you know what knocked in the dirt can't stand H-D

Yeah, I'm a punk right.... a 6'4" 330lbs. one if you wanna come get some, just let me know! And the games did begin tonight when we knocked Hardin's in the dirt!! So much for that 8-0 start from last year. I guess Hull-Daisetta does have that tradition that I was talking about. Ohh well, I'm not gonna harp on something you have no idea about. What's the total at now?... We just put another notch on the ole' belt, what's the series record now, 50-10 HD!!!

We feel your pain on why you can't stand Daisetta, I would hate someone who hands me my a$$ every year too!!! But then again, that's ok I'm sure you can come up something to come back with. And the good news is, that you have a whole year to think about it. Rot in Peace Bia!!!

  4. Right on brother !!! The Bobcats are the only traditionally known power house football program in Liberty County. Also the only program to ever win a State Championship. And yes H-D leads the head to head series against Hardin by like 40 wins to 10 losses. H-D is known for football Hardin is known for what ? And yes it is very special to wear that red and black under the friday night lights !!! On the other hand I do have to say Hardin has been a night and day program in the last 5- 10 years. Hardin has been playing good ball as of late, and Friday should be a classic rival game close to the end. Merch that was the best post ever go Bobcats !!!

  6. Hardin needs to worry about getting their butts handed to them by a 1A team next week !!! Hull-Daisetta will be ready to add another notch to their belt against Hardin. H-D only leads that rivalry with about 40 wins to 9 losses. Go Bobcats !!!

  7. Oilcanfan4life how dare you get on here and accuse highschool student atheletes of doing drugs !!! That makes me want to vomit !!! That is not fair and that is down right wrong. What kind of monster are you !!! You should be banned from all threads !!! They are kids !!! Just kids !!! Man get your facts straight !!! Then try and be humble and fair. Basicly do not slander kids !!!

  8. I don't remember that many fumbles in that game. I do remember H-D pounding the ball and running over Groveton for 3 quarters. Even the Groveton radio people were talking about H-D's big backs and how physical they were. You sure you were there at the game ?  If not for the terrible play calling and even worse clock management in the 4th quarter by Barbay, we would have won the game. Instead Groveton came back and got the victory.

  9. H-D and Groveton was a great game last year to watch. A very close game, Groveton won the 4th quarter and got the win. I see this years game being very explosive and turning out to be a great game to watch. H-D has tons of speed and some very big running backs. Cook goes about 230 and Patterson about 210. Both players killed Groveton last year !!! Can't wait till Friday !!! Go Bobcats !!!

  10. Last year all the Hull-Daisetta fans drove over 90 miles to Huntsville to see the H-D vs Groveton game.  Keep in mind Huntsville is only about 25 miles from Groveton.  Groveton was the home team and it was no big deal, but this year H-D is being asked to play once again in Huntsville against Groveton over 90 miles away.  Does anyone think this is fair?  2 years in a row our fans have to pay the high gas prices and travel.  I feel like this year the game should be played in our area, like Dayton maybe.  Dayton is 20 miles from H-D and about 90 miles from Groveton. I think that would be real fair.  Why should H-D be treated unfairly?  If anyone reading this knows the UIL rules regarding playoff locations, please say something.  And let me know if this is unfair.  I feel like Groveton is getting two home games, two years in a row.  Remember, 25 miles, that's what I call a home playoff game.  And don't ask me why our coach/AD agreed for us to play there.
