Lions Pride 2021

This is three kick-offs in a row Huntington has failed to recover. I'll take it but man that's gotta be some consequences for this on the other sideline for the lack of awareness.

This is crazy. Huntington can't recover a kickoff. Livingston ball again!

Livingston recovers the kickoff and drive 40 yards for the TD. 14-0 Lions. 915 left in Q3.

Gilmer shot themselves in the foot a few times against Carthage last week. The Buckeyes may be the best team Newton plays all year.

7-0 Livingston at the half. Sloppy play. Turnovers and penalties keep this close. Livingston held the ball for most of the quarter.

7-0 Livingston end Q1. Huntington has the ball on its 23 to start the quarter.

I was at the Gilmer Carthage game. Gilmer shot itself in the foot a couple of times and had they played clean, it could have headed to overtime. I counted 45 suited up for the Buckeyes. And they seemed upset to let a chance to beat Carthage on the road get away from them. I'm taking Gilmer to win at home.

Wow. Thats a tricky spot. You prepare all week for glass Joe and get Mike Tyson at the bell. Jasper will be alright. It's a good wake up call that the route to North Texas is going to be a fight. BTW Carthage 17, Gilmer 9 going to the fourth quarter. This has been a fun game.

Livingston had a TD called back against Shepherd, two TDs called back against Orangefield, and another against Liberty that would have made it a game. They are explosive, just gotta clean up a few things. The field will be fine, there has not been much rain here. So no benefit of a sloppy field. Jasper will do what they want. But it wouldn't surprise me if Lions got 3 TDs.

Not a lot of rain here. Game ought to go on as planned as long as the storm just keeps moving. Probably not going to be a lot of fun. Jasper is on a mission this year and Livingston won't be a speed bump in it's way.

38-7 end Q3. Only 12 more minutes. That's plenty of time to work on things for next week.

Eh. I don't know. I was hoping for a better game this year, maybe not the win, but at least competitive. We'll get revenge in basketball season. 38-7. Liberty.

Kickoff at 7. This is a tricky game. Liberty will be bunched up and stay committed to the run. Probably the best rush attack we've seen so far. Heart says Livingston, head says this is the second game of a three game losing streak. Ugh! Really needed that game last week.

The final is 32-29 per my last post. Shepherd made a 2 pt conversion when they took the lead. I fat fingered the score at that time
