On the bright side for the Raiders, they don't have to worry about stopping number 5 (Adams) this year. Should get a healthy dose of Cartwight/Martin though.

Sounds like the Cardinals could use a good 54 - 0 run to get back in it and make it a ballgame. I don't think that's gonna happen.

As I understand it, Lumberton doesn't play very many of their kids. If they let Silsbee control the tempo of the game, that could end very bad for them. Unless those few kids are in really great shape. I'll take the Tigers by 15 - 20 points.

Haven't seen LCM play this year, but they seem to be not bad looking at their record. Tigers need to take it one game at a time. I don't know if Bush will hit 40 + again or not. He has Martin and Cartwright to lean on for offensive help now. Sometimes Gilder is good for about 10 - 12 points a game as well.

Harper bounced right off another Tiger in the air after that last shot. Out of all of our freshman, I think he is currently the most ready. Should be fun to watch next year. -

Only real injury I seen tonight was Martin lying on the ground and limping to the back for a few minutes. Yeah... he was pissed at a Hawk taking his time to get off that hurt leg. If he did dish out a kick, it probably wasn't an accident. Calm and cool isn't a strong trait among some of our players. -

Think Nederland is the biggest team I've personally seen Silsbee play. They started a 6`8 and two kids around 6`6. We really need to take it one game at a time though. Got to work on those turnovers. -

They play really fast was what I heard out of the Yates coaches. But I'm afraid you're right. Yates size would probably kill us. -

Not happy we blew a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter. Some of that was HJ, but some of that was also bad Silsbee. Need to clean that up for the next game. Martin went out for a few plays with a leg injury. Soon as he comes back in he gets tangled up with a Hawk, who proceeds to lay on that leg for just a little too long. Neither him nor a few other Silsbee players were happy about that. That's what the main technical fouls were over. Still, our kids need to not give away free points in close games. -

Sitting in the parking lot now. It's actually not that bad. Only about half full at the moment. Of course it is early. -

They had a Jr last year that was 6'6. He returns, I'm pretty sure. That was it besides their main big last season. Don't know what they look like this year. -

Anyone going to the game had better get there as early as possible if it's like it was last year. Tiger side was jam packed before the JV game was over. I'm taking Sisbee by 10 in this one. I think the Tigers will come out like they have something to prove. I think a big X factor for us now will be Cartwright. So long as he keeps his head on his shoulders, there's no reason he can't average around 20 points a game for us this year. As much as I like Silsbee winning, it is sorta exciting to have a real rivalry for what should be these next two years. Not sure what HJ is bringing up through the lower classes to see if it'll last longer than that or not. -

As far as the dunk count goes, believe it or not, Jordan Edwards can dunk. He's just an inch taller than Braylon. Seen it with my own eyes. Not sure he can pull it off in a game or not. It would probably have to be on a put back or something similar. Whoever number 40 is for Silsbee can also dunk. Still don't know exactly who everyone is on this team yet. Him or Cartwright are probably our best bets. -

Almost a completely different Silsbee team now from when they played PA. Don't know how many times that can be repeated. Silsbee beat Nederland. Don't know what the "would" smack Silsbee around is about 🙄 -

Silsbee has hardly had a stable roster all year. Kids coming and going quite a bit. Hopefully going forward from here on out, this group will be the regular cast. Should see a reduce in turnovers the more they play together. That and better team chemistry. -

That's how is was for the Nederland game. Nearly every time he touched the ball. Made it that much funnier when Silsbee came back and won the game. -

Never understood the overrated chants, which are usually directed at Bush. But please go ahead and piss us off. I'm sure it'll work out well for you. -
