21 - 14 Dayton. Final.
-
14 - 7 Spring at the half
-
I have watched Townley play against Dayton for a few years. He is a solid athlete and is a spread offense quarterback. He has a good, accurate arm and can run the ball very well. He is an excellent addition to any athletic program!
-
Don't forget Port Arthur Bishop Byrne Shamrocks.
-
Things are not dead yet. My son is still competing in the shot put and discus. He is trying to qualify for the Junior Olympics. This track season will conclude at the end of July.

Wal-Mart in Liberty, if you want to make the trip. -
Oubre is a guard, Barton is the center.

It's stated pretty clear here.
2010-2011 Football Manual page 57
Pregame Activities and Regulations
Pregame Activities:
Schools select their pregame activities. Pre-game activities must be completed and the field cleared
of all non-team personnel no later than 6 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This includes the national anthem, the school songs, etc. In addition, the team personnel need to be fully aware of the timing of pregame events, and have their captains and teams ready to go, without delay, at the appropriate times. This will permit the unhindered administration of the coin toss, and, thus, the prompt starting of the game. -

Cuttbacks in revenues to all school districts and for a small school they should not have a separate AD and Head Coach. Waste and very poor decision making.

Wow sounds like you know everything already. No need for you to see the memo sent out by the superintendent. -
Not to worry, the coaching staff he has assembled will carry on just as it was and there is a solid core of talent there right now, with several loaded classes coming through. Teams still will not want to schedule Dayton.
-
I'm not worried. If he has the confidnce in his staff to retire then everything will be just fine. The Broncos will continue the tradition and keep driving to State.

Not me, I'm drinking the purple kool-aid. Stay off our QB and the Coaches as far as I'm concerned.

Well said, let the coaches coach and let the talkers talk. If you have a child in Jerry Stewart's program then you know exactly what I mean. -
I guess that would mean that the other teams in 19-4A would not even make the playoffs.

Dayton seems to think they are a dynasty. One trip to the big show in school history and not winning does not make a dynasty. Close does not count. 14 years to the playoffs they way half the district goes today does not make a dynasty. LaMarque, North Shore ect. now they are dynastys. If you ever win the big one then you have call run your mouths.

No, just un-informed.
It's 15 years straight.
10 of those years as District Champ.
Dayton has never been lower than second in the district.
As for "dynasty", not yet but we are getting there faster than anybody in 19-4A. -

Did you watch the Fres / JV games ??? Must gonna be doin some recruiting for upgradeing ;D
i did. and i dont see any players from dayton who are as big or as fast as all the players yall are losing. yalls defense wont be stoping no one next year.
I did too and Dayton won them pretty easily. -
By the way those are the Houston Chronicle Stats and the Dayton vs C.E. King Game is not included in them. The boxscore is still at zero for the entire game. Dayton won 55 - 14 and I would bet all of the Dayton player stats would go up quite a bit from what it currently shows.
-
It keeps being stated how important one player is to his own team. That would make that player the MVP of that team. We are talking about eight teams here, not just one. Does anybody have the stats from just the seven district games, those are the ones that count. You cannot judge the stats from the first three games since they were not district games. These picks are made by the eight district coaches, so they are based on just the eight district games.
