  1. Great win for BS. They have a huge advantage going forward in this series.
  2. Wow! BS needs to win this game. I can't imagine the smaller schools being super deep in pitching. It would be a huge advantage to come away from this game with a win.
  3. My summer plans involve a 24 hour flight back to God's Country. Gonna spend some time with family in Texas. I'm not looking forward to the heat though.
  4. Way to go Indians! Keep your foot on their throat and finish this thing.
  5. So which part of his statement on the current investigation is wrong?
  6. Most didn't feel a need to reply to something we wholeheartedly agree with. Now, why don't you respond to the content of the article. Do you agee with Dershowitz assertion? If not, why?
  7. Reb, don't expect a response to that question. I asked a fair question the other day wanting to know what the end goal was for all this segregation talk and I got no response. If those people on this board really cared about improving racial relations, they would want to engage in a dialogue. But no, they don't really care about that. They just want to spew idiotic comments that further separate the races.
  8. I have no dog in this race, so I am unbiased, but this video doesn't convince me it was a strike or a ball. It wasn't a great angle to decide. Assuming the ump is set up looking over the inside corner, it appears that the ball could have been a bit inside. Maybe?? I don't know(I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt). The CS kid should have never been taking a pitch that close with two strikes. I wonder mentally how much this affected the next pitch? Irregardless tough break BC and it looks like you will be the team to beat for the next few years. Good luck.
  9. I'm not shocked at all by this. I personally struggle with where the line should be between keeping us safe and protecting our civil liberties. I don't trust those in power to behave responsibly and I also know that a wide net has to be cast to catch these terrorists.
  10. To my black friends on this site, please tell me what the end goal is to all of this? Do you want to segregate society again? Do you want to pay back the white man? What is the end goal? Please tell me because I honestly can't see what it is. If it is something relevant and necessary, I can get behind you and support your cause, but this stuff just pisses me off and hardens my heart to your cause.
  11. Now, let's not go and do something drastic that you might regret later.
  12. So sad. Prayers coming your way.
  13. Wrong. How did I label all 1+ billion muslims? I just said that it didn't surprise me based on my experience. I have lived in one Muslim country and visisted many others. In those Muslim cultures women and children(especially girls) are held in pretty low regards. Lastly, where are many of the terrorists coming from? They are coming from the countries that I have mentioned. Thus, it doesn't surprise me at all that a Muslim would do this.
  14. I agree that welfare is an addiction and I agree cold turkey isn't the best way to handle the problem. It should be phased out over a short period of time. I do believe that charities can care for those in need in big cities. Big cities are just a bunch of smaller cities closely packed together. I also like the fact that people could choose which charity to support rather than the government deciding for them. When people choose one that they care about, they are more willing to give more.
  15. No. Not sad. In my opinion it doesn't go far enough. The government shouldn't be in the entitlement business. I believe that those in need should get help from charities such as the church or other local entities. They have a much better idea of what the needs in a community are.
  16. I have lived amongst the so called peace loving Muslims and I can tell you from experience that they have little concern for women and children. It was actually quite sickening to witness at times. So, no, I am not surprised that they would blow up a bunch of children.
  17. This is getting even more suspicious. His gmail account had someone change the phone number linked to the account within the last three days. Hmm.
  18. Look, you are quite capable of googling this info. It only takes a minute. But here you go anyway. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]
  19. Obama routinely shared classified info with other countries throughout his tenure. Most times in an effort against global terrorism. Biden outed Seal Team Six after the Bin Laden takedown. Iran was leaked info on an Israeli cyberattack on its nuclear facilities. Obama had to pardon a top general over this classified leak. These things do happen. It's just that Trump is under a totally different microscope than previous administrations. Some of it is his own doing, some is partisan politics.
  20. I'm just getting myself up to speed on this story, but I have a couple of thoughts. If true- 1. It isn't illegal for Trump to do this. 2. He probably shouldn't have. 3. The previous administration routinely leaked classified intel to other countries. 4. Both parties are full of lars and cheats.
  21. I defend their right to protest, even though I don't necessarily agree with how they were protesting. They aren't helping their cause by likening themselves to the KKK. I do, however appreciate that it didn't result in any injuries, property damage, or arrests.
  22. It's funny that McCain is the topic of this conversation because he is exactly what is wrong with Washington. Career politicians are the problem. I believe most run for office with good intentions, but after a while become engulfed with the power that lies in Washington. I have always strongly supported term limits. Go serve your country, then go home. McCain should have went home 25 years ago.
  23. Big Girl, Why do you hate America so badly? There is not a single person on this board who would say that there are some dark times in our countries history, especially with the issue of slavery. However, there is a reason America is the best country in the world. You may not have travelled abroad, but I have. i have been to many countries on many continents and I can say without a doubt, that America is the least racist country I have ever lived in or visited . America gives its citizens more opportunities than any other country I have been to. But yet, you dwell on some issues in the past and refuse to have honest conversation about issues today. Why not celebrate the progress that has been made and fight for your beliefs with an open mind.
