I agree with Alan West and have for about 6 years.  Always evaluate and make judgements based on what people do........not what they say and you will be much better off in life!!

I have been pondering the recent happenings and the actions taken by the owner/moderators related to the political forum.  I have always been one to try to understand the reasons behind things and peoples actions including my own. So the big quesion is why do we have such a "great divide" in all things politics?  We have become very polar in our "world view" and what we believe is the best way for our society to live and function and be governed.  This is spilling out in the posts that are taking place on this forum.  I am as guilty as the next guy in participating in exchanges that are less than professional and curteous. Comments are welcome as to other points of view as to why we have, more or less, been put into a form of time-out!

I was guilty of calling someone a prick.  If I need to be banned so be it!  It might help me find something that is more productive to do in life with that time!  But I was only telling the truth when I did it!

Although it was good to see my favorite player Mickelson in the hunt late on Sunday, and to see Fowler make another serious run at a major this year, we have to look seriously at whether the era of Tiger has passed and and Rory McIlroy is the next big thing in golf.  Who has thoughts on who will dominate the Pro Tour for the near future?  And besides sometimes you just get weary of doing battle on the politico board and would like a non confrontational discussion!!

Steve, ECO is defnately smart enough to know what and who he is!  But once you call him out, he degenerated into personal insults and name calling.  That is an intellegent way to win an argument.  Maybe he and biggirl and husband and wife!! 

I guess from here on out, if person A shoots person B, and person B does not die from the shot and lives for 30 or so years before they pass away, then person A can be charged and tried for "attempted murder" at the time of the shooting, But when person B does pass away, the charge can them be "upgraded to murder"!  That is what is trying to be attempted here?  Of course this only applies to the use of guns and not knives, hammers, pick axes and or someones bare fists, because guns (and not any,other weapon used to injure, maime or kill) are inherenly evil within their being and something has to be done about them!!!

If anything fits "the writing is on the wall" this issue does.  Been in the works for years and yes we do not know the unintended consequences this will have on college athletics, especially the lower FBS and FCS schools.

Except for the blemish of Al Gore, Tennessee is a great state and is another example of how the "Texas" model works!!!  When the result of all the looney liberal policies causes these radical leftists that dominate the Northeast and California to run out of money, maybe then they will get the message that their belief system is destructive!!!
