This will be real interesting to see what plays out with the hire of a new coach a WB.  It will tell us a whole lot.

I have spent a lot of time in my life in Tenaha!  Grandparents lived there for many years.  Way to go Tenaha!  Tenaha Timpson Bobo & Blair!!!!

When you win championships and playoff games, attendance takes care of itself.  If Woodard gets caught up in promotions on attendance to earn that bonus, then the focus is completely wrong.  If he stops "good ole boying" the way he runs the program, he may have the kind of success that LU supporters desire.

[/quote] I would think that as long as the teams are on the field of competition and in uniform, the UIL should take sanction responsibility.  Their own rules protect them from getting involved in this situation.  I say they need to change the rules.

I can't say what will happen in regards to Ozen's self dicipline (I am hopeful that they will properly address the situation), but I am confident that based on how many years LM has brought the "in your face, taunting attitude", if anything they will reward their players for their actions.  It will not stop at LM until they are punished severely from the outside. P4E, you have gone from just predicting the winner to also actually predicting the play by play!!!!  If you have gotten that good, then I am going to have to start consulting with you on other matters of Life!!!!    ;D

I counted Nederlands record as 4-7-1.

If he were signing today it looks like a done deal for LSU.  I have a feeling he will be persued but some of the other top schools so it may not be a lock.

[/quote] You know that in reality he was fired.  Being forced out by giving someone an option you know they do not want to take to force them to resign is a spineless way to fire someone.  It basically says I can't fire you based on merits but I don't like you and want you gone.  Lets at least be intellectually honest about this!

It's a shame for Prewitt.  After the beating that he took against SFA it probably didn't take much of hit to generate a concussion.

I don't know what has transpired.  I used the term fired because as successful as he has been he probably wouldn't have resigned unless he knew he was going to be forced out, which is being fired.  I do not know Kevin Flanigan personally but my brother as well as other friends know him so I am sure I will hear his side of this story.  The timing makes it look bad in light of the school boards attitude toward Vidor.  Who knows what would happened had he won that game.  It will all be speculation until we hear some credible facts.  Still don't plan on stopping in Crosby.  And I know without a doubt that there are really good folks that live there so I do not want to besmerth the fine citizens that make it their home.
