Blue Boy made a funny. He used Evadale (Rebs) and Austin in the same sentence. Evadale will make it all the way in the playoffs to the first decent team they play. They haven't beaten a good team all year and I doubt they'll start now.

Blaming the refs BEFORE the game sounds a little desperate. Who knows, Kountze may get their regular crew and everything will be fine for them.

Reading some of these Evadale posts just make me laugh. They're a mediocre (.500) team thats beaten a lot of bad teams and lost to a lot of bad teams. They way they talk down to the opposition you would think they're God's gift to high school basketball. As for Blue Boy, he gets off to throwing some of their players under the bus to make everyone think his kid is carrying the team. I bet that goes over well with those players and their parents.

They were domating the first half of the game and just got tired HF keep running in fresh legs and it worked. But thats what you get at a 1a school, just not as many players. But as far as Evadale being a easy W, just ask any of the 3 or 4a teams that they have played this year and see if they fell the same. They have played ever club withend 12 points and in most cases they were even at the half or ahead. They have only play one game this year were they got blew out, and that was against HJ. I disagree. Even 2A and 3A teams don't mind an easy 'W' every once in a while. Evadale is an easy 'W'. Good teams play through injuries, they don't rely on just one player to be successful. It looks like that may be the case.

Old Blue may be a Brigadier General in the Salvation Army for all I know but he needs to take off those rose colored glasses when it comes to Evadale and that awesome inside game. (he's already thrown the kids playing point under the bus so many times they had to change the tires). What planet are you on? Evadale will not win a pool game (LCM and New Waverly), I doubt they'll win a game (OK, maybe OF or HF if they meet up). Much like the HJ tournament...0-fer.
