1. What the heck has happen to Anahuac? Losing to Hardin by 20?
2. Really? Good game HF. Good luck the rest of the season. EC will be OK.
3. I've been away from SETX football for quite some time. Is Newton still playing 11 player football or are they 6 man?
4. Point is EC can make the playoffs with wins over HH and AP. Hitchcock will be tough but you never know.
5. Err...it's a 6 team district...all EC has to do is beat Anahusc and Hardin at home and the steak stays alive. And I like them against Hitchcock.
6. Sure the coaches or players aren't commenting on this board. Show some respect. You're Woodville. Talk next week...
7. You missed the point. Yes, 2nd or even 3rd team can score. No big deal . WVille isn't the second coming... Take it easy... Act like you've been there before.
8. I'm embarrassed for you. Finally have a semi-decent team and you rag on your neighbor. Stay classy Woodville. Your time is coming soon.
9. gracias from the hill country. Know Kelly is in a down year. It happens.
10. Thanks. Playing a Bmt school and not even listed. Was afraid to ask. Keep the updates coming.
11. I have to admit, I joked about A$M just being the 3rd Miss team in the SEC West. My apologies to the Miss schools.
12. "Fans can expect to see a team that is versatile and explosive while remaining true to a hard nosed blue collar work ethic. It is a formula the team will need to successfully employ as it faces perennial district powers in Newton, Kirbyville, and Kountze". Great research...Perennial power Kountze...geez. EC in the playoffs 17 or 18 straight years (2 out of the last 3 district titles) and Kountze hasn't been since when?
13. After reading Mr. Wilson's explanation regarding 'servers' and 'back-ups', I thought I was in a time warp - back to 2000. And the answer is yes, you need to find a new service provider if your business is relying on scheduled data back-ups. Now days we use blades arrayed in clusters that replicate real-time. These clusters use what's called 'Virtual Machines' that connect to other VM's both onsite and offsite. Data is replicated in more than one location for obvious reasons. <FIRE>. Secondary VM monitors the health of the primary VM and in case of a failure, the secondary takes over in milliseconds. Tech gets the alarm, yanks out the bad unit and slips in a new one in the rack and re-images it. User never knows what happened. Data farms that provide these services are very cheap considering what they provide. They charge based on activity so you don't have to be Chase Bank to afford it. Just saying... Good luck and hope everything gets back to normal soon. (whatever normal is)
14. We ain't got no worries...We're Kountze...Come on man! Heck, I'm embarrassed for you. Drop the BS caption. You ARE Kountze.
15. Does the UIL have the option of placing these charter and/or private schools in a classifacation that goes beyond enrollment? Seems like a private all boys school in Houston was placed in a higher division because the student population was just that, all boys. Might be a good idea to add a couple more A's to the Triple A Academy to level the field.
16. A&M withdrew their LOI because there is a very good chance he will be a non-qualifer and not make it through the NCAA clearinghouse. SEC would have counted the offer as a scholarship. The ACC wouldn't, if he doesn't make the grades (and didn't from what I heard) they'll ship him out to a JC and get the scholarship back. He isn't committed to Miami at that point and once he becomes elibigle at the JC, he can sign with anyone he wants. All that said, he does have a very bright future no matter where he ends up.
17. kcat=no clue EC should have one of it's the best teams in years. Newton will be loaded...Kville, not so much.
