After a few adjustments against Humble, we had the game in the bag. Our boys have been playing some good ball. We will definitely have to play smart against New Caney and Porter to pull of the win. It will be great to watch both games

That's what I'm thinking. You have all these grown a** folks on a sports forum arguing back and forth. Y'all do realize these boys know how well other teams are doing and are trying to mentally prepare themselves for each game. I wish all the boys the best, especially the seniors. This is the best time of their lives right now.

BH will be traveling to New Caney next Friday night ready to play.

BH gets the majority of their starters back next year and I mean almost all of them. I think Nations being out of the coaching realm has hurt this year. Whether or not he's able to change some things up next year is yet to be seen. I'm sure he's a great guy, but if you look at the penalties that Dayton get's in games, play calling, scheme's etc.. you do have to scratch your head and ask yourself questions. This isn't intended to bash Dayton at all, but like Bronco Pride stated, before Stewart, ya'll were struggling and over night became a perennial playoff team and one that teams feared. It's almost like ya'll took a huge step back. If it's the same next year, It wouldn't surprise me to hear a lot of chatter from Dayton folks about the HC position. Might look for a DC in the off season to shore up the D to begin with IMO.

33 out of 56 kids are seniors this year. I think we have some pretty good players moving up next year. Dayton and Crosby has some good players moving up as well, it should be pretty interesting.

Everyone said it was going to be a blow out, favoring Porter. Dayton boys should keep their heads up. Looks like it was a hard fought game

This will be a good game to watch. If we weren't playing in Humble, I would try to catch some of it. Good luck to both teams. Dayton varsity is having a rough time this season but I don't see them staying down

I would love to see Dayton upset Crosby, just bc it's a rivalry game. Do I think it will happen probably not. I feel bad for the seniors of any team that is having a bad season. I keep telling the seniors I know just get out there every week and play with heart.

I do believe Daytons JV will beat Crosby JV. 

I'm gonna have to go for Dayton on this one & you don't usually hear that from me. I didn't even have Porter on my radar as a team to worry about til they beat Crosby.

Very good game. Very tough game. I think both teams learned a lot from this game. Gotta give to both teams, they gave it their all

He was able to practice yesterday and said he felt good so hopefully no other problems

Yes it should be a great game. I've always loved watching the BH vs Crosby and BH vs Dayton games, all the rest are just games lol. When they are up against each other they always seem to have more purpose

Gave it up the game to Crosby (2 deep snaps that they made TD's off of) but offense only scored 6 pts on our defense, so y'all should have a pretty good chance against them. We also lost to Kingwood Park. Our O line was just not there that game, I was dying.

OK on a serious note, does anyone have any information about the bus wreck in Dayton this morning? It's on Click2Houston, says 9 injured in front of the high school.

Well I will say you're crazy if you haven't seen the changes that have been made. We have some damn good talent and it's being put to use.

On offense there are a few that moved up. NOT 1 moved up on defense.  My son he begged the coach not to move him up bc he wanted playing time, he's a defensive end. Just too many seniors. If our O line comes out to play like they did last week, we have a very good chance of winning. Crosby only scored 6 pts off our defensive. It was the 2 bad deep snaps that caused us that game

Dayton's best player is their Tailback for sure.  He doesn't touch the ball enough.  In the past, the best player touched the ball more than any other.  Barbers Hill is still terrible, and if they some how win this game, I'll be shocked.  Barbers Hill has only played one good team, and got blown out.  Barbers Hill fans are blind to not notice they just beat the two worse teams in the district haha.

Our drill team has Crosby's former Instructor, Mrs. Stoeck. I hated to see Mrs. Gray retire (being this is my daughters senior year). Isn't Crosbys band considered a military style band and has to present themselves as such ??

BH has an awesome band. They have fun no matter what. Only problem we have had is getting to the game on time to a couple of the FAR away games (Vidor and Caney Creek). some people weren't too happy about it
